In a word, awesome. I absolutely would recommend these guys. Total professionals. Our old AC and furnace had been acting up. Sparing everyone the details, we were experiencing problems every year with the old units. The AC unit was leaking water in the basement late in the day. I called, left a message with the AI operator, and they sent a tech (Davion) out first thing in the morning. Like 7:50 am I had a knowledgeable tech on my front porch (awesome!). It was a steamy 93 degrees again that day. Realizing that we were throwing more and more money into our old units, we decided it was time to replace. The sales and equipment estimate expert (Brian) was there on my porch same afternoon. We had a clear discussion of what we wanted to do, which was replace both AC and furnace (we were not pressured into a sale. It was our choice to replace). We were able to schedule the work for the very next morning. The price was reasonable. The 3-man team that came out to replace the units were experts (Jason, Sael, and Caleb). They fixed the issues with our airflow that caused the old units to function poorly. They fixed the intake and exhaust system. They kept us informed, showed us what they were doing, respected our home, and generally improved our dwelling. The install was just brilliant and faster than I thought it could be done. Honestly I think these are the guys that you want installing your HVAC. I am happy to recommend this company. It is a well-run operation with great employees. Give them a call next time you need some HVAC help.

Took advantage of an elderly couple who didn’t know any better during a mini split install, charged $8100 for a single head unit straightforward installation 12k Mitsubishi unit and then “discounted it” $700 to make them feel like they were getting a good deal. $5000+ in labor and a $2500 retail worth of equipment. They should be ashamed. Workmanship wasn’t great either

Very professional service men worked well together to install a new electrical connection pole, outdoor meters and new breaker panel box with easy access generator hookup / plug-in. They showed up on time and they cleaned up their work area nicely afterwards. Not to mention they worked 12 hours straight and it was 100 degrees outside that day and they made sure I had power restored before they left.

I just moved into a new house and noticed a large temperature and humidity difference between the two floors. I was able to make an appointment quickly with Thornton & Grooms to see what the issue was. The first tech, Kyle, was very informative, good about explaining the issue without making it feel like he was talking down to me. He was also great about stepping into a room when I needed to move my dogs through the house - the dogs were already stressed by the move and add in the heat of a malfunctioning AC and the presence of a stranger and they weren’t up to a meet and greet.

Thornton & Grooms got the needed part in quickly and were out 4 days later to install it. It was an all day job, so I closed all the blinds and did my best to conserve what cool air I could in the house. The second tech. Dave, was great about going thorough outside doors quickly to help keep cool air in. He also worked as efficiently as he could to make sure I had the AC back up and running as soon as possible and made some suggestions on how to maintain cool air in the meantime.

I really appreciated the professionalism and prompt service. My AC is now working properly and my dogs and I are enjoying our heatwave from inside our cool home.

Alex was amazing- professional, very thorough and knowledgeable. My a/c airflow was low and he was able to determine the three causes for the issue and fixed them all immediately and quickly. He explained everything clearly, had the right temperature measurement devices and I was able to see exactly what he did. Also did all of the regular a/c checks. He wouldn’t leave until he could tell the airflow was stronger and my VERY dirty outside unit was completely clean. And he’s a really nice guy and pleasant to work with. Will absolutely ask for him in the future!

Nick , removed and reinstalled a toilet for us due to our flooring getting replaced. He also disconnected and reconnected our water line to our icemaker. He corrected the venting from our hot water heater. Nick also made sure our connection was to code. Nick was very thorough and knowledgeable. He had a great demeanor and was very professional and helpful. Nick definitely earned a 5 star rating. Thanks Nick!

Review for Mike Lilley, Thorton and Grooms technician. Mike was the most detailed and informative tech I have ever had in my home. Mike took his time to show me everything about my heating system and it's performance. Ultimately it was time to replace it. ( the unit was 21 years old). Without Mike's thorough inspection I would not have known how badly I needed a replacement.
Tequila , another representative of Thornton and Grooms was able to be scheduled the same day as Mike Lilly's visit to review and contract what heating system we would need to replace our old system. As with Mike she took the time cover all options and recommend what would be the best option. Tequila was knowledgeable, professional and had a great demeanor. Similar to Mike she knew what she was talking about. Tequila was able to schedule an installation of our new system the very next day. Thanks to Mike and Tequila.
John Torres and Jesse Smith showed up the very next day to install our new heating system. John and Jesse were professional and unbelievably talented and competent. They dismantled the old system and replaced it with the new one in 4 hrs. They were organized and left everything clean and neat John installed the smart monitor for the system and thoroughly explained how to use it.
I can't overstate how coordinated ,professional and knowledgeable this experience has been with Thornton and Grooms. What was very impressive was that they all spoke very highly of the Owners and their customer expectations. They all gave us the appearance that they enjoyed what they did and who they worked with. Very refreshing!!!!

Review for Jacob Priest: Jacob performed a complete and thorough examination of our plumbing. During his inspection he replaced our kitchen faucet and two toilet inner parts, which now work great. Jacob inspected all water lines, sump pump and hot water heater. He methodically reviewed each floor level. On our main floor he inspected all faucets ,showers and toilets.Jacob tested our water for chlorine, hardness etc.,very detailed and he took the time
to explain each finding. Afterward he gave us a summation of all his findings and a choice of what we would want to act on. His time spent with us was about 2 hours, his findings were comprehensive and very thorough. Jacob was a pleasure to work with. He had a very helpful attitude and approach. He definitely deserves a 5 star rating. Thornton and Grooms should be complemented for the quality of associates they employ. Thanks, Jacob!

This post refers to our HVAC inspection thst was done today by Juan Figeroa - Campos. Thia inspection was the most thorough and comprehesive inspection ever done on our system. Juan discovered a contactor that needed replacement and educated us on what was needed to keep our system sound. Juan is definitely 5 Stars!
This post is for Kaleb Meyerink performed on 6/09/2026. Kaleb serviced an error code we had on our air conditioner unit which stopped our air from working. Kaleb checked our unit and discovered that the error code was a false code.Kaleb explained why this message appeared, the system was reset and is working fine. I thank Kaleb for his thorough knowledge and explanation of what happened. Kaleb's professional approach and positive engagement is another reason why we always choose Thorton and Grooms. Kaleb is definitely "5" stars!

Randy did an amazing job fixing our plumbing issue. He went above and beyond to properly root cause the issue and fix it. He patiently listened to our concerns and addressed them properly.
He did such a great job that from now on, anytime I have a plumbing issue, I’m going to ask for Randy to come over and take a look. I fully trust him, his technical skills and his amazing work.

Zachary from Thornton & Grooms came out to unclog my main line and made sure we were completely taken care of throughout the process. Mike also came out to perform a full camera inspection and clearly explained exactly what was happening in our system. Both were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job cleaning up after the work was completed. I was impressed enough with the service to join their annual maintenance plan.

More recently, Logan and Julian came out to perform major pipe cleaning and water jetting on both my main and ancillary lines. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and preparation from the moment they arrived — they immediately put down floor coverings to protect the house and prevent any mess or contamination. They were diligent, thorough, and took the time to answer questions and explain issues as they worked. They also provided a complete before-and-after video of the drain lines, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring.

Overall, I highly recommend Zachary, Mike, Logan, Julian, and the entire Thornton & Grooms team. Excellent service from start to finish.

Hired Thornton & Grooms for the purchase and installation of a brand new furnace and air conditioning unit.

We got several quotes from many companies.
Thornton & Grooms biggest selling point was that these things are all about the installation being done properly. People need to hire a solid company like theirs who know what they are doing because the initial install is EVERYTHING.

Initial install was March 27th. Was told it was all smooth and all set. Within the first week it was warm enough to turn the AC on. Switched the new thermostat to "Cool" and turned down the temp....nothing happened.

Tech who came out said it was a bad install.

To sum up and keep this short, they have had to come out 4 times after the initial install up to this point.
The units do seem to be functioning now (I'd hope so since we went higher end on our decisions for both Furnace and AC, meaning we paid up).

We are still waiting for them (as of 6+ weeks later) to schedule the inspection they said would be done quickly as well.

To say we are disappointed, after a near $20k tab, would be an understatement.

I was a care club member for a whole year and it was a part of a service that I received with discount if I was a member. I did not use any of the yearly included checks that year. Then couple years later I realized there is also a monthly membership, I paid for the monthly to get my furnace checked, next month I was charged automatically, because I forgot to cancel. Therefore I wanted to at least take advantage of that and get my house’s drain checked also wanted to cancel my membership for next month. I had a call with company regarding that and had the worst experience with their club team. Very rude and she was telling me that they could have charged me with full service fee last month for furnace check if they knew that I am not full year member! My simple question was why do you have the monthly membership then?and also there is a statement on your website that you can cancel anytime! Am I stupid to think that I can pay monthly and get the same service and cancel anytime that I want? Otherwise I would be stupid guy who wants to pay 20$ per month and gets nothing in return! If the company think this is not fair, why do you give the option?!! There are other companies charging half the yearly membership fee, the reason your monthly membership worked for me was because I didn’t have to pay the full year membership! All this said to be fair to the company, I did receive good quality service and the people visited my house all decent and professional people who gave me good advice regarding maintenance and equipments. They spend enough time evaluating the situation and providing recommendations. I wish I was not this disappointed to post this negative review here.
