They were able to complete the project a few days before my husband's knee surgery which was very helpful. Zach did a great job with the installation and cleanup. Your Home Improvement Company tackled a huge job for us - all the windows in our home and porch. They made excellent recommendations that maximized our views in our country home. If you want your shower to look like it has more caulk than the caulk isle at Home Depot, this is the company to hire.

This review is based of a bathtub conversion to shower job that was done.

The shower renovation itself looks less like a precise installation and more like a creative exercise in gap-filling. Instead of components actually fitting together, the solution appears to have been large quantities of cheap caulk applied… enthusiastically. The result is uneven, messy, and impossible not to notice, especially in a space that’s supposed to look clean and finished.

Disappointing craftsmanship, sloppy execution, and a finish that feels anything but professional.

I had a shower/tub combo replaced and new flooring installed by Your Home Improvement Company. Kevin did a wonderful job! He completed the work quickly and the results look wonderful!

I love how my shower turned out! Fast turn around and completion time along with precise and dedicated measurements and outcomes. Haven’t had any issues, everything was installed exactly how we discussed it so I have no issues to make. 10/10 already recommended to my mother who will soon be a customer of YHIC as well, shoutout to Arlen and huge shoutout to the guy who actually came and installed my new bath and shower.

Kevin, Zach & Charlie(plummer) were professional,courteous, and frankly the end product looked outstanding. One small hiccup and they promptly came out and fixed the issue. Would recommend them to my mother.

They were able to schedule this several weeks ahead of schedule which was great and it took about a day and a half to do the job. Kevin was great, very professional with an attention to detail. Our only regret is that we didn't do this conversion project sooner.

My bathroom remodel was finished over a year after I signed the contract and paid in full. The installers, without exception, were fantastic to work with. The project management was a disaster. When one phase of the project is done, the PM needs to let the client know what happens next and when. This rarely happened—usually I had to call. At least one of these lapses was blamed on a PM leaving the firm. Is there no process to reassign open projects when someone leaves?? Most of the time I had no clue who to call if I had a question. Probably the worst miscalculation was when YHIC sent out a crew that demolished and removed my toilet and shower before the plumber arrived and informed me that the replacement toilet was not among the project supplies that showed up at my home a few days earlier. It took them over a week to deliver it, during which I had NO toilet in my home. I also went for months without a tub or shower. I waited weeks for a window build and install; the installer got out here quickly after the window was built—he left within 20 minutes, informing me that the window was a half-inch too big vertically and horizontally. The rebuild added more weeks to the project. I am very happy with my bathroom. I will not work with YHIC again or recomnend them.

Update, September 2025. Windows still not finished. Management barely responsive and not communicating progress. We have no clue what the status is of our project and I have no idea when it's going to be complete.

We hired Your Home Improvement Company in early summer 2024 to install windows in our back porch. The project was originally scheduled for completion by October 2024, but over a year later, it is still not finished.

We realized, in September, that we had only interacted with a salesperson. We had to make several calls to both customer support and our salesperson just to figure out who was overseeing our project. Eventually, we were able to escalate our concerns to a regional manager, who informed us there had been an issue with the order that delayed the project which was a detail that had clearly slipped through the cracks.

By early 2025, the majority of the installation was complete. The windows themselves look great, but a number of quality issues remained unresolved. The company sent a technician out multiple times to finish the job, but each visit left lingering problems. As it stands, the project is about 98% done. No one seems to be able to finalize it.

In summary, this project has taken over three times longer than originally promised and is still incomplete. While we do love the windows, the overall experience was frustrating and poorly managed.

If you're considering working with this company, here are a few tips:
• Insist on knowing your full project team, especially your project manager, from the start.
• Clarify who your escalation contact is in case communication breaks down.
• Be proactive and stay on top of the project timeline—don’t assume things are moving forward unless you're checking in.
• Be prepared for the timeline to extend well beyond the initial estimate.
