CDW provided excellent service and quality new windows to my parents who had all the original windows in their home replaced after over 50 years. Considering the size of their slider (enormous)and that all of the other windows had to be ordered custom, it is amazing how seamless the windows look! It has transformed their home and most importantly has improved their quality of life by insulating their home from the weather and elements (dust). They can already see a big improvement and reduction to their use of utilities. Everyone from the sales to the installation team were amazing. No potato chips were damaged. ;)

Absolutely master class from CDW! We had a new slider installed to replace a botched DIY job from the previous homeowner and the CDW team absolutely knocked it out of the park!! From Emmanuel our sales representative, to our installation team, to the wonderful and informative staff in the office, we have been over the top impressed! My wife worked in the Home Building Industry for 25 years and said she rarely encountered teams as professional and customer service centered as CDW! We don't have any potato chips covering our home, but CDW absolutely crushed it for us! If I could've 10 stars I would!

While my initial experience with the company was positive, I was ultimately disappointed by the sales tactics used after I declined their quote. After informing their automated system and my sales representative, Raymond, that the price exceeded my budget, I was contacted by a manager.
This manager attempted to pivot me to a 'sister company' for a discount, but when I explained that their pricing still wasn't competitive with other bids I’d received, the conversation became unprofessional. He openly mocked my decision to move forward as an owner-builder and undermined my project strategy. While the product quality seems high, the lack of professional courtesy and the condescending attitude from management were unacceptable. Got a feeling that the manager was racist as he called out I was from India then proceeded with I have many Punjabi friends “I love you guys…. Then tried to say thank you in Hindi after he didn’t get the sale - fact check, I am not Punjabi!!! Leadership should focus more on customer respect and less on high-pressure sales.
I also sent a feedback to corporate via email few days ago, and they never even acknowledged my comment. For a company who’s been around since 1986, I would have expected better.
Best advice is to be ready for a high pressure sales tactic, I wish I was a little prepared.

had our windows installed in February of 2000 ( Yes! Over 25 years ago!) and our double paned windows were getting a little foggy in between the panes. California Deluxe Windows honored their Lifetime Warranty and sent Brian and Luciano ( who provided excellent customer service btw) and replaced the glass panes today! I was told we were one of the oldest warranties they’ve seen come in! I could not be happier knowing we chose California Deluxe Windows. I would recommend them to anyone needing windows as they provide amazing customer service, have great integrity and stay true to their warranties. Thank you CDW!

I had one of the worst customer service experiences with California Deluxe at a recent fair.
When I first stopped by their booth (three hours before closing), it was empty. I asked nearby vendors about the vendors whereabouts and they informed me that the representative often abandons the booth for hours at a time or doesn’t show up at all.
I circled back several times before finally seeing a young Latino man there, later learning his name was Carlos. When I spoke with him he was completely disengaged, more focused on spending time with a woman who appeared to be his girlfriend that was there in the booth along with him. Rather than speaking to a potential customer. No greeting, no name introduction, and absolutely no effort to make a sale.
After expressing my concerns, Carlos promised to help me find the right products. He took my number and assured me he’d follow up. That never happened. Despite multiple calls, he never answered or returned my messages (I’ll include call logs in this review).
As a real estate developer with multiple properties, I was ready to spend money not just on one home, but future projects too. This company not only wasted my time but also was very unprofessional.
I will never use this company and strongly suggest you look elsewhere!

We have had our CDW windows for 17 years and one of our windows had a mechanism failure. Two service men came out ahead of their scheduled time and not only did they fix the mechanism failure of that window, but also answered some questions and fixed an issue we had with 2 other windows, which was not part of the scheduled service report, they were just willing to help. Service appointment was great and the men were very friendly and helpful. They also honored our lifetime warranty.
Now I must add that it did take 3 weeks from the time I reported the problem to the time the repair was made.

Terrible customer service. Waited two weeks for an in warranty repair, then waited two hours and they never showed. Over a week has gone by, no call to r/s. I left a message for Dennis (manager) but never heard back. Something to consider if you ever have an issue.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can avoid what I went through.
From the start, the company failed to clearly explain how the 6-foot sliding door would be installed. The salesman, Ray, assured me that the existing stucco between the side picture windows would remain untouched and that replacing the side picture windows wasn’t necessary. I even received a quote for a full 136-inch sliding unit but chose not to proceed with it based on his recommendation.
I never met Ray in person—everything was handled over the phone.
To my disappointment, the install was bulky and unattractive. A large flange covered the existing stucco—contrary to what Ray had promised. The bottom track was also raised by two inches compared to the original, making it look awkward and out of place, especially in this custom home . The overall result felt rushed and poorly executed.
When I contacted Ray about the issue, his only suggestion was to purchase additional windows to make the area look uniform—something he failed to mention at the start. I’ve now been forced to replace all three windows, losing over $3,700 in the process. The slider they sold me is unusable and will likely have to be discarded.

Three of the nicest most professional men just left after installing all new windows in our home! I am so incredibly happy! 6 1/2 hours and 9 windows later! I am extremely grateful! Thanks again 🤗 And for the most part, they left my property clean and put back together! A couple little things not worth mentioning, but everything is beautiful.
I should also mention that Danny was incredibly professional the first time he came out to talk to me and look at my windows and explain the choices I had, when he left all of my questions were answered, and I knew then this was the company I was going to go with, they were my 4th company that I had talked to, and received an estimate from, they were not the cheapest, and not the most expensive either, no regrets from this satisfied customer 🤗
