They have a great team at Silas. Respectful and knowledgeable. Shout out to Mr. Williams and his team who stayed until 8:00 pm to make sure our brand new heat pump was up and running, he also took the time to explain the basic running of the machine and how we could do regular maintenance at home to keep it in its best shape. I whole heartedly recommend their services.

I'm writing this review voluntarily about Liam McDonnell and Bookie Sharpe, Sila Central Air Conditioning installers. Both were on time for the installation. They were polite, friendly, courteous, cooperative, easy to talk with, highly knowledgeable and highly professional. They worked for several hours doing the installation and did not take a break. They answered my questions. They walked me through and explained what they had done. It was a pleasure to have them to do the installation. I had a very positive experience with the Sila team that installed my new gas boiler and decided to use Sila again to install my Central Air Conditioning.

It is a particular kind of heartbreak to wake to the sound of water dripping through your ceiling and onto your bed. The condensation pipe on my hard-to-access AC system had clogged! After some well-meaning neighbors suggested solutions that wouldn't work in this case, I sought out Sila -- and I'm so glad I did. First, whoever answered the phone immediately set the right tone -- they were warm and courteous and assured me that help was within reach, and soon. My tech was Brian Watts, who called to tell me he was on his way just two hours after my initial call. He came and, as other reviewers have noted, explained what he was doing and why, so you were part of the process. I've lived with this AC system for 19 years and know it's on borrowed time, but when it works it works really well. Previous owner had the unit installed in a cramped crawl space between my bedroom ceiling and the roof -- accessible through a large vent in the hallway. It's not a fun space to be in, but Brian took it in stride (and it helped that, at about 6'2, he weighs in at maybe a buck fifty). So the problem wasn't complex, but the environment is challenging. Again, Brian went right to work, knew exactly what to do, and freely gave advice along the way -- with some gentle ribbing about my lax maintenance habits. (I hadn't done any check ins on the system since 2020.) I will do better -- and I'll call Sila again if I ever find myself in this fix. Thanks again! A great service.

Vince and Alex replaced my air handler, outside compressor on the hottest day of the year. My home is all stone and is 88 years old and the air handler is in the attic! The attic had to be 120 degrees but Vince persevered while Alex was outside in the sweltering sun. Absolute dedication and professionalism!
Few companies have this type of customer service.

So, turned on my A/C for the first time last week, and it wasn't working properly. I called and scheduled someone to come have a look since the unit is only 2 yrs old. Anthony Goostree came, had a look and found a prob outside. Initially, my fists balled up and I was getting steamed, but I opted to see what the outcome would be. Sila assigned Anthony to come out and work on the prob - turns out to be a 6 hour job. Anthony communicated when he was coming, what he would be doing, informed me when he left to get a bite to eat and come back, and finally that the job was complete. This is customer service, folks! He was pleasant, professional, and focused on getting the job done without making a bunch of excuses. Thanks Anthony. It's actually cold in here now... I can definitely feel the difference. Best part is that the whole thing was covered by the extended warranty I purchased when I bought the new system. 5 Stars for Anthony!!

Was a 'member' for about 5 months. The two times i needed maintenance or service, it came with a dose of sales and recommendations for things i really didn't need. Also, while their techs are very nice, their scheduling system has a long way to go. Will not give you a specific time to arrive only that they'll let you know they're 'on the way'. Took a day off work...then the tech finally showed up at 6:30 PM....during dinner. Also, made another on-line appointment for which someone returned my call promptly, but then they never showed. I quit my 'membership' after this experience. After my marginal experiences, they asked me for specific feedback, which i gave them, and then i was ghosted. They probably look upon me a problem customer. They won't have to worry about me anymore :-).

This was the second time we had Travis Welsh as our Plumber. Previously he installed our new faucet and also replaced the pipes in our bathroom vanity. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with him!

Jim was great, he’s worked on issues at my house before. He listened to me when I described my issue and then took his time to track down the root. He did his best to minimize the amount of cutting into my walls needed, and I really appreciated that. He walked me through everything and explained what needed to be done.

Very pleased with my first Sila service call. Our technician, Zach, was as enjoyable as a good breakfast sandwich. He clearly explained the state of our HVAC system, providing cost effective and insightful recommendations to ensure our air was both the right temperature and clean to ensure a happy and healthy family.
