An OUTSANDING company! Freedom Power doesn’t try to sell you something you don’t need but will analyze your needs and propose the best solution. They use all sorts of data and tools to help you really save money. The various teams you might work with, from the sales person to the operations folks, are honest, hardworking and responsive when you have questions. They are all professional and courteous. I strongly recommend Freedom Power and I’m confident you’ll be extremely satisfied.
Going solar might seem like a daunting and expensive task. In fact, it is actually both. The good news is that Freedom Solar is there from start to finish to help guide you through the process. Shane was my first point of contact. He was the reason that I decided to pull the trigger on this project. He explained the products in detail and how my system would be installed and how it would operate.
Once I decided to go ahead with the project, other people got involved. We're talking about designers, a site survey with a drone, electricians for the pre-wired, a project manager and the installers. There are a lot of moving parts plus having to deal with your power retailer and whichever company owns the infrastructure (Centerpoint). I think the most frustrating for me was dealing with the latter two entities.
At any rate once installed, I have been able to run a 5500sqft home with all appliances, two 5 ton and a 3 ton AC unit, set at 74 degrees F, purely on Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries during the night with plenty of capacity to spare. During the day, the panels charge my batteries and then the solar runs the house and sells excess power back to the grid. My first electric bill was $37.00 for this month of service which is incredible. So not only do I have peace of mind during a power outage, but I have also essentially protected myself from the rising costs of power, which will inevitably keep rising over the next few years and decade(s).

I had such a great experience with Freedom Power getting solar panels installed on our rooftop that I decided to try them for our HVAC maintenance. Technician Angel Morales did an outstanding job servicing our system. As the system was quite old, I asked for a quote to replace it with a new Lennox system. I received the quote right away, and after getting a second (higher) quote decided to go with Freedom Power. They responded to my questions quickly, and I was able to schedule the installation for the following week. On the day of the install, I received several notifications that the installers were on their way with projected time of arrival. Jose Ortiz and Blake Nolan showed up right on time and got right to work. They worked quietly, efficiently, and were very respectful of our home. By 5:00 pm, they had completed the installation and totally cleaned up all work areas inside & out. After several days of running the system, it appears to be running great, is relatively quiet, and is efficient. So my wife and I had Freedom Power install solar panels on our home at the beginning of this year. And now that everything‘s been up and running for a number of months now I can safely report that the whole thing‘s been fantastic! Freedom Power has a really good customer service model, The sales rep not only meet you in person and walk you through all the product lines they have available but also all the different packages and plans. He’ll build you out a couple potential systems customized to your house. What’s more, once you have made your choice, he’ll continue to be your contact through the whole process and then afterwards help you set up with the power company and the monitoring apps and everything. Greg Johnson was our representative, and I would just say if you call Freedom Power, ask for him. His professionalism and completely non-pushy integrity is exactly the kind of person you want to work with!

Freedom solar did an excellent job with my 6Kwh solar and tesla powerwall install in central Austin, they made everything easy and seamless and it ended up being a great deal for me too! Now I can run my AC more comfortably throughout the hot months and not worry as much about getting crushed by the electric bill. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism. Ask for Spencer he was great work with!
We had an outstanding experience working with Spencer Sobolik and the team at Freedom Power. From start to finish, the entire process of installing our solar panels was handled with professionalism and great attention to detail. Spencer was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the product, from explaining the upfront costs to walking us through the final review of the completed system. I’ve dealt with a few solar contractors over various installs. Freedom Solar is lightyears ahead of the competition in knowledge, project management and service.
Even if FS doesn’t provide the absolute lowest bid you receive, you’ll likely save yourself hours (if not days) of contractor/utility/permitting headaches if you opt for them. Their warranties also actually hold value as compared to more transitive installers that may disappear along with the end of federal tax credits.

We have quite a few panels and due to the orientation of our house you see them as you come up the hill right there in your line of sight... Through the whole process I have emphasized that it needs to be as visually acceptable as possible. It might seem trivial but Isaiah and team (Watt Warriors) made sure all the grid lines lines up as best as possible.
