I purchased a home that recently had a roof repair and solar panels reinstalled. The seller of the home waited weeks after pestering Greenhouse Solar and Air for them to finally come out. The panels were reinstalled, but LOCKED by greenhouse solar and air. When the seller and I called Greenhouse, they tried to extort us by charging exorbitant “diagnostic” fees and an unreasonable scheduling and waiting period. I told them it was unethical and they were paid thousands of dollars to reinstall a working and they still stonewalled me. I told them that I was going to publicly leave a review about my experience everywhere I can. They tried to cease and desist me. I have a right to publicly document my experience with your firm, and it’s a shame that greenhouse and negatively affected so many people.
I’m currently dealing with a warranty issue and have been unable to get a response despite multiple attempts.
One of my solar panels is underperforming. My contract includes a provision for one annual service call at no cost, including labor for issues involving manufacturer-warrantied components.
Despite this, I was told I need to pay a $250 diagnostic fee upfront plus any materials that may be required. I received a voicemail requesting payment, and the written explanation I was given does not align with the actual language of the contract.
I’ve had two previous warranty service requests in the past that were handled without any issue or charge, so I’m not sure what has changed here.
I’ve asked several times for clarification on how this is being applied, but my emails have gone unanswered.
I’m simply trying to have the agreement honored so the issue can be resolved. Hoping this reaches someone who can properly review the situation.
