Do yourself a favor and call Marquis Roofing. After contacting several other roofers whose customer experience was wanting, Marquis Roofing came through. I received a return call in short order, an honest quote in little time, and a roofing repair done right. I would highly recommend Marquis Roofing and their team.

We contacted Marquis Roofing to arrange a quote on two older cottages and four smaller outbuildings. We had a rough idea of what the overall quote should be because we had done some prior research regarding metal roofing costs. Tom and Ben looked the property over and then he explained the estimate, time frame for completion, and they answered all our questions, We made the decision to go ahead with the project during the initial meeting.

The crew showed up exactly at the time they said they would. Project Leader, Josh, was absolutely excellent and kept us involved daily, He could not have been better in regards to keeping us informed at the end of the day, as different challenges were discovered and resolved. His group of workers were a delight to have on the property and we enjoyed seeing them each day, which is a testament to Josh’s management skills.

The entire experience was refreshing and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend Marquis Roofing, for a real quality job done!

Marquis Roofing and Exterior Design just did a roof on both our house and garage and replaced our old, sad clapboards with new vinyl siding. They were quick to get us an estimate, happy to answer the many questions we had and did an amazing job on both projects. Both crews were hard-working, respectful of our property and did a great job cleaning up when work was complete. They were able to take care of some necessary repairs to the outside of the house and set us up with a framer to replace the doors on the house as well which really streamlined things for us. The price was more than reasonable and they truly went above and beyond our expectations.

I was skeptical that the roof on our 1790 farmhouse could be completed in a day. The job on the ~4000 sqft home included installing about 1600 sqft of osb over barnboards, reflashing three brick chimneys and work around dormers where water was infiltrating. The roofing crew that they brought out was top notch.

I counted 20+ guys and 2 ladies who arrived in two vans at 8AM and worked with precision and pride on our roof. It was truly impressive to watch that many people working at once in a coordinated fashion and literally seeing the progress being made.

We have a garden directly adjacent to the house and we let it go for the season because we knew it would impede access to the roof. Normal plants/bushes are protected by big drop cloths, but Marquis will work with you if you have a unique landscaping situation that you need protected.

6PM rolled around and after about 10 hours of work they were done and cleanup concluded about an hour later. And when I say cleaned up, I mean, no evidence that 20+ people and a ton of roofing debris were on the ground an hour earlier.

Results-wise, the project was a huge boost to our home. Not only in terms of protecting the home, but also in aesthetic quality. Our barn had three layers of shingles dating to who knows when and because of the barn boards, the roof was wavy like a potato chip. Not necessarily sagging, but wavy. Easy to see from a distance. The barn roof is now much, much more "squared away" and matches the rest of the home.

The only caution I would say is when you call Marquis, be ready to get to work. We paid for our roof with invested funds, requiring a check to be cut and mailed. Marquis was literally able to deliver on the roof before the USPS could deliver on the check (a little over 7 days). In fact, the check to fund our project arrived the day the workers were here and I drove to Concord to deposit it. I hate owing people money, even for a day, so I'm glad everything worked out. I say this because if you are used to "slow" construction, these guys will keep you on your toes.

We will be working with them again to help us maintain other exterior aspects of the home.

The folks on the crew were friendly, efficient, and professional. They cleaned up perfectly at the end of each day. I would recommend them without hesitation.
