Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to formally share my experience with Renuity on December 18, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., regarding a proposed renovation of my upstairs bathroom.
On that date, the sales representative, Mr. Josh Daus, met with me and my husband to discuss the project. During our discussion, I clearly stated that I wanted to keep the same tile design currently installed in the bathroom and did not wish to make any changes. Mr. Josh Daus assured us that this would not be an issue. He further stated that the work would begin the next day and that the entire installation would be completed in one day.
Based on these assurances, he quoted a total project cost of $13,000. I made it clear that I was willing to proceed only if he could keep his word regarding the timeline. Relying on his statements, I paid an initial deposit of $5,000 and signed the paperwork. Unfortunately, we were not given adequate time to thoroughly review the documents, nor were we informed of any cancellation or cooling-off period should we change our minds.
The following day evening, I received a call from another representative who informed me that the project would not begin until sometime in January 2026, as materials still needed to be ordered. This directly contradicted what Mr. Josh Daus had told me and my husband,I explained that the Christmas season timeline was the primary reason I agreed to move forward with the project, and that Mr.Josh never mentioned any delay or material-ordering requirements.
A day or two later, my husband contacted Mr. Josh to clarify the situation. During that conversation, Mr. Josh acknowledged what he had initially told us but then changed his explanation. Subsequently, a contractor visited our home and described a different plan and materials than what we had agreed upon. I immediately stated that this was not acceptable, as it did not match our prior discussions regarding the tile design.
The contractor contacted a supervisor for Texas, with whom both my husband and I spoke. We reiterated that we did not approve of the materials being proposed and confirmed that my husband was present during the original discussion with Mr. Josh. After this conversation, I informed the contractor that I would not be continuing with the project, and he left our house.
In summary, I feel I was misled regarding the project timeline, pressured into signing without sufficient explanation, and presented with materials that were not what we had agreed upon. These issues collectively made me withdraw from the project.
I am therefore requesting a full refund of my $5,000 deposit. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and used to prevent similar situations for future customers.

I had an amazing experience with Monitacio Castillo from Max Home installing my Ella Ultra Acrylic Walk-In Tub in a small upstairs bathroom. Monitacio was professional, patient, and walked me through every step of the process so I always knew what was happening. He worked carefully in a tight space and the finished tub looks perfect! 2 showers were renovated with tub removals.

-- custom master shower/jet tub and floor throughout the bathroom.
Both installations were completed well, timely, and at a reasonable price. There were a couple of annoyances so I would rate 4.5 stars, if I could.
I went with MaxHome because of the warranty, contract, documentation, professionalism, and the ability to reach out to management for assistance with an acceptable response.
I'm very pleased with the aftercare which prompted me to review the company. I found the shower floor too slippery and they came back out to install a covering that is much better at no additional charge. They also agreed to cover a slippery bench in the custom shower.

Nemo completed the remodel today. He called to give me an ETA of his arrival which was right on time. He gave an overview of the project before he began, asked questions, helped identify our needs further. He made suggestions that were on point for our needs for the grab bar installation for my elderly parents. He was extremely thorough, very professional, a very hard worker, mindful of the construction debris and managed our expectations, and cleaned up after himself. I would highly highly highly recommend him for any insulation project. I have a great respect for his craftsmanship and skill. His customer service was world class and we sincerely appreciate his time today.

My husband and I were in the process of redoing our bathroom walls and adding another vanity. We met a lady at Home Depot who works for Max Home and asked if we're looking to redo our bathroom and from there on, we were guided with a sincere approach to help us get our bathroom done. My husband is disabled now and can't do the carpenter work like he used to in the past. Today we had our bathroom redone by a very nice young man named Simon Bentser. He came in like a pro and did an excellent job on my amazing on my new tub/shower. It's very affordable for something that adds value to our home Thanks again Simon for making our project worry free!

We had a great experience with our installer Isaiah who arrived when he said he would and worked at such a steady pace. He was very polite, personable and detailed in his work. He explained everything so well… I also want to mention Dakota at our Home Depot who hooked us up with MaxHome and also the salesman Josh who was excellent. We are looking forward to using our new shower.
