Very happy with the system. It works great and looks great. The value is top notch - top tier equipment for a very reasonable price. System was installed and on in less than a week after power company approval. Public Service Solar stayed on top of the power company who delayed installation by 4 months and then took another 5 post installation to change equipment to support net metering and approve interconnection.
The only way this process could have been better is if Public Service Solar was a bit more proactive in communicating during the power company's delays. A quick "hey, talked to the power company yesterday, they are still reviewing" every couple of weeks would have been very reassuring.

We recently worked with Public Service Solar to install solar panels on our roof. I chose them after doing extensive research. We actually received *four* bids on the job - three from a solar aggregation site (that allows you to receive multiple bids) and one from a local company that had installed panels at a local church. I chose Public Service Solar because they provided the best proposal overall, having both a lower cost per watt and a superior design. Their warranties are also excellent. Public Service Solar did an analysis of the sunlight exposure on my roof, and they proposed installing panels in the areas that received the most sunlight, in order to maximize production. They arranged for permits for my system and worked with my electricity provider to make sure all the details were ready for the installation. After all the parts were ordered and the approvals were in place, they actually installed my system in a single day. They have been professional and great to work with.
I *highly* recommend them if you are considering installing solar panels for your house.

Public Service Solar was incredibly informative, patient with my question and efficient with the contracting process. They provided a great price on high quality panels. I looked up references not just in reviews but also on Reddit and it was all positive. The installation was quick and clean - the best home project experience of any kind that I have had. Highly recommend!

I had my Solar System installed on September 28th, 2022. Before I installed the system, I had lots of questions about the Solar System, Cost, and performance. I did talk with four different companies regarding the system and none of them did not give straight or correct answer to my questions. Lucky, I was able to talk with “Public Service Solar” company in May 2022. The salesperson “Mr. Mark C” from Public Service Solar was able to give answer to my questions and explain the whole process in plain English. After finishing all the necessary paperwork, they were able to install the Solar System in the last week of September. The installation went very smoothly, and the system started producing electricity. At the end of the first year, my solar system produced 95% of my total usage.
In March 2024, I added 4 more panels to my existing system, hoping that my system should produce 100% of my total usage.
Last two years, the system is running great, and I start seeing the saving on my electric bill. The staff from “Public Service Solar” are wonderful and genuinely nice people to work with. I would especially like to thank “Mark C” for his kindness and his help through the process. I am glad that I Invested money in the Solar System because the last two years data and performance indicating the saving I am going to have in the future. Finally, I would like to give 5 stars to “Public Service Solar” for their work and I can recommend installing the system by them.

Great customer service through out the process. Their terms were the best of all solar companies I contacted. Most wanted full payment before installation. The installation crew was courteous and hard working. They completed the install in a very short time and very neat with all of the equipment.

Did several months research via EnergySage and ultimately went with Public Service Solar. Best price for the best equipment vs the competitors PLUS has critter guard included. My timeline went as follows:
May 2023 - contract/proposal agreed
End of June 2023 - installed
End of July 2023 - PECO installed Netmeter
Public Service Solar are incredibly responsive and helpful. Would recommend for sure. My only minor complaint was their app has status updates for the entire process (which is great) but I found some steps weren’t followed as stated. For instance, I didn’t get detailed plans during install day to look over and discuss, but it didn’t matter too much because the installers were professional and efficient and answered all my questions the day of. Just check out the pics! Super clean and love my panels to this day.

The installation guys at public service solar did a great job at installing my solar system! With this team of guys it only took 4 hours from start to finish to install my solar system. They were all very courteous and answered all my questions. So far I am very satisfied with the electric it is producing. I just need Met-Ed (my electric company) to come out and put my new meter in so I can start earning electric credit.
