Universal Windows Direct of Dayton

I am not impressed with universal windows. Quite frankly, I feel as if they have dismissed our concerns.

Let me explain- we live in a country style, one story, brick home built in 1997. There are not many trees, and the wind blows heavily at times. We had Anderson wood windows before. The wood around the base was rotted in some windows, so they had to be replaced. The Anderson windows were about 22 years old before replacement. The windows facing the west NEVER leaked cold air prior- even in the poor shape they were in. We had a friend tell us about Universal Windows, and they had a great experience. We replaced ALL in windows in 2021 with Universal. Every year after, when the wind blows from the south, the windows facing west leak cold, cold air. Very drafty. We had Universal Windows come out each year to try and fix this, but each year the problem continues. This year, we noticed the cold drafts again. We asked specifically to have someone else come out and check our windows, since they have sent the same person each year. Who shows up today? The same person as before. The gentleman continued to tell my husband that any window would leak, and there was nothing we could do. He even patronized my husband by telling him, “now come on, you seem like a level headed man…” I’m over it at this point and will be contacting Anderson. Kindly and respectfully, we are good people. We just want someone to honestly tell us what the issue may be and FIX it. That has not happened.

Excellent customer service ! I placed an online request for a quote and was called within the hour to set up an appointment. Daniel and Rob arrived on time for the Estimate and Proposal.. again Excellent ! We received a wealth of information about windows and siding; quality of manufacturing and including warranty features not offered by "big box" retailers. These guys spent the time to understand our needs and present them in a professional manner. Highly recommend!

We had our quote given to us by Rob and he was absolutely phenomenal to work with! He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was also great with my kids! I really enjoyed how he was not just all business and had conversations with us! It was great being able to see their windows and how they really talk to you about the windows they sell and take pride in what they do vs just coming in giving a quote and leaving. We are very excited to be moving forward with the process!

My husband and I had an amazing experience working with UWD. Austin was great to work with and was very attentive to our needs. He set clear and accurate expectations of when our windows would be ready for install. He was very responsive any time we reached out with questions, and was very accommodating when it came to scheduling. Our install tech was fast, efficient, and respectful of our home. He maintained great communication with us during the install process. We've already recommended UWD to several friends and coworkers looking for services, and we will definitely be returning to them for future projects!

One of the best experiences I have had with a company. The salesman (Austin Miller) was very pleasant and made sure I understood everything about my windows. The guys (Jeremy and Brian) that installed my windows were very respectful of my property and animals. Super nice guys. Didn't not leave me any messes to clean up. If you are looking to have any work done that Universal Windows Direct has to offer i would give them a call.

After having our windows replaced by Universal Windows we knew we had to have them replace the sliding door with an atrium door. We are thrilled with our new door! Jeff and Eli, our installers, were meticulous in everything they did. The door is beautiful and keeps the room warmer and quieter.

Installers were very professional, quick and did a great job! Love how they look and how easy it is to open and remove them for cleaning. they are very quiet as we can no longer hear our flag flapping!!

UWD is top of the line! I had French doors removed and a sliding glass door put in. They not only did a great job, but they left the area better than it had ever looked. They were quick and professional. They took the time to talk to me and hear what I wanted, explain their product, and then had a very reasonable bottom line cost. We had a slight issue with the screen, but I called and a couple days later someone was able to come out and fix everything up in less than 15 minutes. When we replace our windows, I know exactly who I am calling, no questions asked.

Universal Windows Direct was recommended to us enthusiastically by a neighbor. We needed one window and two doors. The salesman was pleasant and helpful, energetic and focused but not obnoxious. The financing they offered was excellent. He warned us right from the beginning that production time would be a good 12 weeks. We appreciated that transparency. It proved correct. The measuring team and the installation team both worked carefully and methodically. The resulting products and installations are superb. They left a little dust behind in the kitchen, but that’s to be expected. More importantly, they cleaned up everything else very completely and efficiently. We couldn’t be more pleased.
