First of all I cannot complain about the quality of work.
The remaining experience is less than stellar.
1. It took over4 months to complete.
2. Poor Communication.
3. When I complained about the timeline to “Joe” he couldn’t care less. All he kept saying was it’s a construction job, it’s a big job, you have our best contractor, in 5 years you’ll forget all about it.
4. I have a big dead spot in my lawn where all the supplies were stored.
5. And I still have construction debris sitting in my front yard waiting to be hauled away 3 weeks after they finished.

I have had them back several times to address siding coming loose or falling off. I recently discovered trim coming loose and found it was originally attached with a glob of silicone.
The vents on either side of the house were replaced with no screen, hence yellow jacket infestation inside those vents.
Now as of today, trim falling off the house again. Was ALL supposed to be fixed the last time.

Lost $40,000. Had them come out for a siding quote in August of 2024. Contracted them for an addition. Payed $10,000 to do engineering and submit permit. Supposed to start October but didnt get permit submitted till November, they asked for $40,000 down to submit permit and start building. I decided at the end of November to walk away from the project, the permit was not approved yet and the city was asking for measurements. They told me they needed to come in and measure for permitting and ordering. I told them I didn't want to do the project, the next day I was informed that the $40,000 down would not be returned because I signed a contract. I tried to work with them to maybe do other work on the house and they refused, either the addition gets built or I forfeit that money. So they kept all $40,000. They also pushed forward to do my siding early on, and honestly I should have been paying more attention and put a hold on the project. They left the top row of siding off because they intended on finishing siding later after completion of the addition. They did paint so they could say that the $18,000 siding project was complete, but not only was I missing the top row of siding but they didn't caulk any joint. I went all winter with out my house weather proofed.
UPDATE: The owner called me july 9th. He started out with letting me know that he didn't know about what was going on. I informed him that I tried multiple times to contact him.
He wanted to make things right in return for taking down the review. His offer was to finish up the siding, I couldn't agree to that. We talked about what he may owe me. He didn't think that I was owed anything, as my $40,000 deposit was all spent on administrative costs for my project, before we even break ground on my addition. I informed him that I gave him $10,000 in the beginning to cover administrative costs. But he still insisted these were all costs they took. My records show that I withdrew the $40,000 deposit Oct 25, and I cancelled the project Nov 22, $40,000 gone in 30 days? He also slightly touched on how legally he probably didn't owe me anything. I agreed with him, he may legally owe me nothing. But I brought up that morally it may be the wrong thing to do. He has been trusted with my home, and morality is pretty important for me to trust him.
After our talk I went through my contract again, the total contract was $105,000. $10,000 plus $40,000 was used on administrative fees, that's half the contract. If you factor in the siding cost, I'm in $70,000. That math only leaves $35,000 to buy materials, pay labor, and make a profit on my second story addition. None of this made sense to me.
Update: The owner claims that the money was spent, I dont see how that could be without starting the project or even coming into my house to measure for materials. He has also claimed that he is entitled by contract to any profit he would have made. This seems to me that he is trying to tell me anything that could make it appear different than he just kept the money because he wanted to and that it was pure profit.
UPDATE: while working on finishing up my siding myself, found rot in a spot that now I have to un do their work to fix.
UPDATE: I have wrapped up the siding on my house. Almost a year later and its finally weather proofed. I just cant beleive 2fl left me hanging like this, they kept every bit of money and couldn't even offer to finish the siding that I had paid in full. My house was left to rot after I had given them a total of $70,000.

I highly recommend 2 Fl windows! The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. Aaron and the crew did a fantastic job, installing the windows and cleaning up and made sure that everything was perfect. I appreciate their help in processing rebates that were available for this installation as well. Could not recommend 2 Fl any higher!

These guys are fantastic! Good communication to let you know what they are doing, and what they accomplished. They ask if you have any concerns/questions. Quality of work is great. I would recommend to anyone.

Update: There you go public. As can be seen from their response, 2FL is justified and in the right..... Although there contract numbers seem different than mine. And yes a personal issue was part of me cancelling as I explained to the sales man, I was and still am in parenting litigation and it was taking an unexpected turn. This litigation was going to now eat some serious cash flow so I can have visitation with my 3 year old. And yes parenting litigation may put reviewing a company on the back burner. What I cant understand is I don't believe the owner said anything about material in our last call, just administrative cost. They never entered my house for final measurements.

UPDATE: I have wrapped up the siding on my own. After re-examining the contract, I feel 2fl indicated that I breached the contract and that 2fl did not. I will mention that it looks like 2fl did breach the siding contract. 2fl only explained after they had started that they were not going to do 100%, but the contract to me indicates that it should have been 100% done, and it definitely states that there was more to do than they did. They did not finish the work. They did leave my house to rot in the weather after I had given them a total of 70k.

I contacted 2FL Windows and Siding for a replacement window. They were very swift to come measure and order the replacement. The installers were prompt and very courteous. After the window was installed, they cleaned up and took away the debris. I would highly recommend 2FL Windows and Siding.

Terry at 2FL came out when my office girl noticed a leak in my office window, they were quick with a response and we haven’t had a leak since! The team was kind and informative when discussing our issue and options to solve it. Thanks 2FL!

I used 2FL to replace the older sidings and windows trim in the back of my house because I had some windows that leaked. I picked this company as I saw a mother neighbor on my street that used them.
I thought that 2FL did a fine job. But then when the winter and heavy rains came , same 2 windows started to leak. I called, email and text my sales person, the project manager and the owner number of times. They finally came to take a visual look, but they never assumed responsibility and after many back and force they asked for additional payment to repair the leak that should have been fixed when i first hired 2FL. I was upset with 2FL and I ended up hiring another company that ripped apart some of the work that 2FL did and fixed the leak. So now my problem is resolved, but i had to pay twice.
2FL is not a company that seems to care about their reputation or their customers. I would advise you to look somewhere else.

2FL did an amazing job on our windows and siding. The crew was very professional and brought a lot of fun energy to our home while doing the installation, I could tell they took a lot of pride and joy in what they did. I will definitely be using them again in the future!
