John from Affordable Home Security ADT did an outstanding job installing my ADT alarm system. From start to finish, he was professional, patient, and very knowledgeable.

He took the time to clearly explain how the entire system works and personally walked me through how to operate both the control panel and the mobile app. He made sure I felt confident using everything before he left.

I also appreciated that he was honest about what was and was not compatible with my system. He explained my options and guided me on what I could upgrade or add in the future if I decide to expand services.

Excellent communication, no pressure, and very thorough. I highly recommend John if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about making sure you understand your security system.

We have had an alarm monitoring system through ADT for 7 years and have smoke detectors that are monitored by ADT through a monthly monitoring subscription. On 12/14/25 we had a fire at 1:48 am that set off the smoke detectors. We were asleep in the house and ADT is supposed to contact us and if no answer contact fire department when a smoke alarm is received. Due to us being asleep they continually called me and my wife and we did not answer because we were sleeping. We eventually woke up to the smoke alarms and responded to the fire. After realizing the extent of the fire at that point I then contacted the fire department. ADT never contacted the fire department and I have verified that with ADT and the fire department themselves. After the fire we lost power to the home do to extensive damages after a delayed notification to the fire department at the fault of ADT. We contacted ADT to put our account on hold due to inability for system to be monitored. They agreed to set price to 20 dollars a month. They continually charged us unauthorized amounts in excess of our normal monthly payments. We contacted them and they admitted they were not correct charges and then authorized refunds. The refunds were then denied after issued and persistent charges were made after that. We have since canceled our account with them after fighting for going on 3 months, many hours long phone calls and hundreds of dollars of unauthorized charges. The extent of damages could have been drastically reduced if ADT had followed through on their end of the agreement and then they take advantage of customers facing a tragedy with excess charges. These are unlawful and morally wrong practices for a company that is supposed to be there to help in times of need.

Marty was our technician and did a wonderful job!! Very knowledgeable and educated us as he went.

AJ Beard was our sales rep. He was able to pinpoint what equipment worked best for our business and got us a great rate!!

John was our in between guy for scheduling, etc. Always polite and professional.

Very deceitful. I had Brenna come to tell us about ADT and everything sounded nice so we decided to give it a try. When asking if there was any timed contract and such her response was “no you can cancel at any time” little did I know I am locked into a 3 year contract. I would not recommend this ADT to anyone.John is also very unprofessional in the way he talks to you and doesn’t take accountability in actions. Anything to protect themselves. Don’t go near them.

My Wife and I had Martian as our install technician and he was very informative quick working and respectful, I highly recommend!

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Got the system, it wasn't for us so I called to cancel within our 3 day no commitment period. Adt transferred the call to the local Ohio office, was hung up on after stating I wanted to cancel. Had to call back and was rudely told that it was marked on my account, that someone would reach out within the next day or so to come get the equipment and then was hung up on again. The same tech, Jay, who installed it and sold it to us was the one to remove it. I had already removed the doorbell camera and put it back into the box since I was told to keep that box. Then he goes to remove the wall unit and ask for the box. I don't have the box because it was left on the floor with all the plastic wrap and everything else from the system so I assumed it was trash like all the plastic and other trash that was left with it. I wasn't told to keep those boxes only the doorbell box which is why I still had the doorbell box. He tells me that he did tell me to keep the box, he didn't, and then proceeds to tell me that it's only common sense that I would have kept it. Which is rude, and common Sense would be to not leave the box on the floor like trash and to tell me to actually keep it. But I digress. He then calls his supervisor or whatever and tells them on the phone where I can hear that I threw away the box even though he told me to keep it again. He did not tell me to keep that box at all. Only the doorbell box which is why I had it. I out loud say you did not tell me that and he holds up his hand to basically shush me in my own home which is rude as hell. Then after he got all his equipment, he leaves and leaves my front door and screen door open which is also extremely rude. Especially since I have cats in the house.

Leonardo and his team were very professional and personable. I was skeptical of what he was offering at first but Leonardo and his team followed through with everything they promised. Install and activation was quick and seamless and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend other to give them a try. I already have family lined up to receive the same service we got 😂

Leonardo is top notch. Not only was he very thorough but kind and considerate. The whole process was quick, efficient and affordable. In today's economy that's a major plus. Leonardo and his team are definitely keepers. They will have your company known as the best of the best! Many thanks from Henry Luker and the whole family.
