In the aftermath of a storm, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by roofing companies looking to capitalize on insurance claims. Most of the contractors I encountered were unprofessional, providing dishonest assessments just to make a quick buck.
​Everything changed when I met Peter, the owner of Advanced Roofing. Unlike the others, he was direct and transparent from the start. He sent an inspector the very next day who performed a thorough, honest evaluation. While there were some minor scuff marks, the inspector confirmed there was no structural damage and that the roof was still in great condition. He provided a certificate of clearance, and that was that.
​Meanwhile, other companies continued to harass me, insisting the entire roof needed replacement. If you’re looking for a team with genuine integrity, Peter and his staff are the real deal. Highly recommended.

I never write negative reviews, but this company cannot be trusted. They disappeared without completing all the gutters on my home, the left nail and shingle debris strewn everywhere, they simply left roofing felt rolls and a skid of unused shingles on my driveway. When I asked them to finish I was ghosted by Tim Crilly. Hire them at your own risk.

Advance Roofing of DesPlaines did an excellent job with my flat roof replacement. Jim the Sales person contacted me and answered all my questions. I visited the office in Des Plaines to make a down payment. I spoke to Peter the owner and he is so nice to deal with and told me don’t be surprised if the roof is replaced the next day. When I came home from work the next day, the roofers are already done! Advance Roofing team are very professional and polite group of people. They are a pleasure to deal with. Peter's team tried to get our roof covered by insurance, but the storm damage was secondary to it just being old, so that didn't happen. However, the price for a tear-off and complete roof replacement, including some underlying plywood, was very fair. They finished the work in one day, and the new roof looks great! Would definitely recommend them.
