Stay away from Altair Solar, they installed my system in 2018. My inverter stopped working in May, without informing me they ordered a new warranty replacement inverter for me. Never contacted me, I noticed my system wasn't working in June. Contacted them, a week later the said my inverter was bad and they would reach out to Solar edge for a replacement ( of coarse they already had one) gave me an install dated of July 26th which they never showed and I have never been able to get them to give me the inverter or install it. I did get an email from them stating "they have stopped all operations due to cash flow problems". You have been warned don't do business with them!

Altair installed my system 9 years ago…two very large and costly systems. I have seen their service go down hill over the years. Most recently I had them remove panels off my patio cover so it could be replaced. I now need them to reinstall and been waiting weeks on service and trying to work with Hana…limited communication, no return of emails or text. The Irvine office line is now disconnected. Are they still even in business? Khaled, the owner, who was happy to take our money at point of sale, now is no where to be found. Solar panels require maintenance and are a long term investment. I cannot recommend them and would have gone with a larger and more reliable company. I now have panels still sitting in my garage and struggling to find help! Shame on you Altair

Don't expect any customer service once you've given Altair your money. I had my panels installed in January 2024 and in July, my system stopped reporting.

I've called and emailed Asem, Tyler, Hana, and Khaled. No response from anyone. These people are thieves. Take your business elsewhere.

Do you want to hire a contractor who ghosts you as soon as they have your money? Then hire Altair. No? You would like somebody who actually backs up their warranty? Then run.

We have a roof leak (with video during rain) from the exact penetration point of their solar installation, and they refuse to return emails, texts, and voicemails to make the repair. Multiple attempts... and got a hold of their receptionist once, who told me call Chris for service and he gave me no responses either. It's clear that they have no interest in honoring their contract and so I have no choice but to come here and do this silly thing.

Read the other negative reviews. Multiple accounts of them not backing up their work, leaks not repaired, referral fees not being paid... this place is a sham.

Not only did they deliver on their promises, but they also took the time to listen to my needs and explain solar technology in a way that made sense to me. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I've already recommended them to my friends and family. They were transparent about the costs and delivered on time, all while being incredibly easy to work with. In the end, I was more than satisfied with the work they did.

Excellent experience of working with the team to customize a system that perfectly suited my household's current and future energy needs. Throughout the process, they were transparent, providing regular updates and answering all of my questions along the way. The installation was completed in a day, and the system has been performing very well ever since. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to install a solar system in Orange County.

Although my install was a good experience I would rate it at a 5/5. Something changed at this company lately and has been embarrassing for me. I have referred 4 neighbors and had theirs in contract or installed already. I did not receive the incentive/referral.

In addition, my neighbors cannot get in touch with any one to complete their install with the app or city inspection. All my neighbors asked was a timeline and someone told them to wait in line. I have emailed and called with no answer

I would recommend Altair right away, but until they fix their customer service I’ll hold off for now. Try a different place until these guys get their management back to normal

I had a great experience with Altair Solar! Their installation was done on time and, and their prices were reasonable compared to others I found anywhere for such high-quality products and service. Their crew installed my solar panels safely and efficiently. I'm now able to enjoy both cheap electric bills and the satisfaction of living a green lifestyle. Thank you so much, Altair Solar team!
