1. No Accountability:
a. Continued to blame APS for 5 week stall.
b. Accusatory statements regarding my honesty.
c. Failure to clean up their mess, after explicitly stating it was done.
d. Failure to report, replace and put back as found, had to ask for the obvious, (i.e. wind turbine; damaged ridge vent, and mess). Funny thing is, had they bent back the damaged turbine to make no sound, I would have never known or realized the damaged ridge vent.
2. Sloppy labor:
a. Installers set a panel down on a wind turbine damaging it.
b. Installers consistently kick the roof ridge damaging the vent. They did not even need to be on the ridge, panels are all on the one side and should have been loaded on that side, not up and over the ridge, that only hurts the other clear side of my roof, luckily it wasn’t a hot day as I can imagine the trampling that was done.
c. Installers left mess which grew to bigger mess that I had to clean.
3. No follow up contact & placating.
a. Got the sale, left me hanging.
b. Never followed up with an update for 10 days, just said he would.
c. Never followed up with an update a second time for 11 days, again placated me.
d. Was told on several occasions I would be contacted by Sergie, still waiting.
e. Ryan point blank lied about APS clearance.
4. Unprofessional workers
a. Sergie sent me an email telling me my system was ready to go with instructions on startup. I go to turn it on and immediately suspect something was off, but went through the motions just the same. I imagine the email should have said, inspection failed and is not ready. Good thing I didn’t get killed.
b. Had to ask for replacement of all damaged items and consistently felt like I was asking for too much or my expectations are too high.
c. Two times I attempted to call the office. I had forgot the outcome of the first, in which I promptly remembered that this was them last time, only to get more pissed for doing it again. Nothing worse than investing your time unwillingly, on hold for15 minutes, only to be told you must leave a message! If they have a system smart enough to take messages after a 15min hold, they should also be smart enough to leave automated verbiage stating the 15 minute revert, giving a person the option of leaving a message now, try back later, or chance the 15 minutes.
5. Project not completed within the allotted 120 days due to direct actions of the company, assumedly working other jobs securing money at my expense. Total days to complete 168, May 15th - Sept 31st.
6. System does work, although no one has explained how to monitor the system, what to do if something happens, or any consultation whatsoever. I guess I am to get tutelage elsewhere, and that makes a lot of a sense, not.
We hire people to do the job they say they will. No matter what the star rating or the process to vet the program or people associated. Ultimately, you spin the bottle hope for the best, and you get what you get. Can’t make them do what’s right and fair, can only hope they provide a service or product that you can be better than satisfied with, and that they can feel pride for a job well done. This is the consumer’s only true expectation. Elevation fell short of that expectation, by far. After constructing and reading my own review, they get a one. Should have went with my second choice.

Erick Martinez is the go to guy at Elevation solar. Always available to answer any questions you might have and I had a hundred questions in regards to installation and service issues for my solar system.
I would recommend Erick to manage any
Future solar project.
Thank you very much Erick.

I would give zero stars if I could. Please read this entire review. We first purchased our solar panels back in 2021 and our salesman name was Felipe Chagolla. He came to our home explaining how effective solar panels are and how much money we would be saving every month. He explained the panels would pay for themselves. Spoiler alert!! We have actually spent more money having these solar panels than just paying the electric bill itself. The trick they use to pull you in is suggesting look at all the great reviews they get on google and let me warn you, I wouldn’t trust all these at all!!! So before the process started I was able to get in contact with my salesman Felipe with a breeze, but here is where things get shaky. After installation and issues started coming up, he did not answer or even respond to text messages. They are going to try and rush you through the installation process, but all the fun starts once the panels are suppose to do their jobs. Once the problems started, he wouldn’t even answer text messages which at one point he wouldn’t stop trying to get in touch with me to sell me panels. So I reached out to customer support because I notice my panels weren’t doing what they were promised to do. At first getting someone out to the house was a hassle then once I did they came looked and guess what happened nothing changed. I have 50 plus panels that produce about $100 to $200 worth of energy on a given month. We get $200 if the sun is burning at 130 degrees that entire month. With all those panels you do the math of how much I’m paying for panels just to get $100 worth of energy back. I’ve reached out plenty of times to customer service and still need to call them back as they have never called me back and I’ve been waiting for two weeks!! For what these panels do I was better off paying my electric bill without them. They have gaslit me by telling me they are working and I just don’t notice it!! They say they are worth it, but I am here to tell you they are not!! Now I feel I have been more than fair as I have given them almost 4 years to fix this situation but to no avail. Now you as a customer for a person to take this much time and energy to write a review like this that should tell you how much money we have flushed down the toilet. Now a salesman is going to sell the hell out of what these panels can do, but I am warning you, you’ll regret them deeply. Hopefully a solution can be found who knows it’s been 4 years. I just wanted to warn the good people of Arizona before they dump their money and set it on fire. I could give way more details but this should be enough. I went through it so you didn’t have too. God bless you all including you elevation solar and sunlight financial.

I’m giving David Barcenas, and the whole team 1 Elevation Solar five stars because they are excellence in service, David has been with me through the whole process. It’s been amazing. They are so truthful , kind, courteous, just amazing. I recommend Elevation Solar to anyone that’s thinking about having Solar put up on their home’s roof. Oh, and I recommend getting solar panels quickly. You are going to be paying anywhere from $500-$1000 a month for electricity and I’ll still be paying $19.56 a month. It’s worth getting the panels just step out and do it. And you have the freedom of producing your own electricity to do with what you want and you don’t have to buy electricity from NV power ever again, be independent 📖🙏🏻🦅🇺🇸❤️😌☀️

We purchased our solar system from Elevation Solar a little over 6 years ago. Nothing is perfect however I have consistently been impressed with the customer service offered by Elevation Solar. If you’re considering a solar system I would highly recommend Elevation Solar. Word of caution - do a lot of research before going solar. We’re still about 4 years away from breaking even on the cost of the system. It’s possible that equipment upgrades and repairs will extend that time, thankfully it hasn’t happened yet. If you want a good experience with any solar solution you need to be an informed customer. There’s a lot to know and understand. If you want to deal with a solar company that demonstrates excellent customer service then Elevation Solar is the way to go.

I cannot recommend this company. I started the process of adding solar to my home in March 2025. The Elevation rep said the process was expected to take approximately 60 days. The process was not officially completed until late August 2025. The system I was sold was insufficient to handle my power requirements with no significant change in my energy bills. Elevation was next to impossible to contact. When you could speak to an actual person, they were unhelpful and could only offer to take a message. Promises to call back within 48 were consistently missed by a week or more. Elevation said they would also provide a method for me to track how much energy my panels produce, but that has also never materialized. Lastly, the Elevation salesperson promised an incentive for signing with them, but that was also never provided. This company is full of false promises. Invest your money somewhere else.

This is gonna be an unfair review. However, Elevation has to be somewhat responsible for the information that was provided to me when I signed up for solar. I signed up with Elevation in 2022 or 2023, but I can't remember; it's unimportant. I was told that the new buyer could assume my loan if I ever wanted to sell my home. Elevation signed us up with Sunlight Financial. Let me repeat: We were signed up with Sunlight Financial, which refuses to let people who qualify for a 600k loan assume our solar. In my book, this is a ridiculous play to get people to roll their loans into 6 or 7% packages to make more money. I'm not saying elevation is the culprit here, but don't trust what your salesperson feeds you during the honeymoon phase of your business deal.

On Monday, July 21, 2025, an Elevation techie installed a new inverter in our solar system. He spent about 3 hours making sure everything was hooked up satisfactorily. My neighbor, who is an engineer, asked him several questions which he patiently answered.
I would highly recommend Elevation to anyone who is considering installing a solar system.
Elevation is recommended by SRP, our power company, as the best company to do business with regarding solar.

My wife and I have issues with our solar system on a house we recently purchased that was not working and we finally contacted Erick at Elevation Solar looking for help. Erick provided more help in 10 minutes than we have had in days trying to figure what to do. He was extremely patient and explained everything in detail. I would highly recommend this company based on our experience.
