Run far away from this operation -we had a horrific experience and the contract had to be terminated with the job completed by an unrelated party.

Beware of heavy up front deposits that far exceed any work done. This allows them to use your funds to finance their operation unrelated to your remodel. If there is conflict you will be financially at risk in attempting to obtain any reimbursement. Require full accounting based on actual gusts of the contract is terminated for any reason

You should demand a percent complete payment schedule and reject their payment schedule based upon calendar days instead of the project progress. Withhold funding of the last 10% in the budget until all punch list items are completed.

Beware of verbal promises that are not in writing. You will find the contract is one sided in their favor. Demand the contract well in advance of agreeing to start the project. If they promise or clarify items put them explicitly in writing in the contract or don’t proceed.

Beware of schedule. Require a schedule in advance that is adhered to with penalties. If it is not completed within 30 days of agreed upon final completion then assess penalties. Don’t allow schedule to be extended when they provide you the schedule and contract by 2-3 months for whatever reason they come up with unless you are willing to accept that time line.

Again tie payments to profess schedule. By example if schedule is 3 months take 5 critical path items that are equidistant in the agreed schedule and tie payments to the completion of those critical path items. Such as plumbing finish or paint completion. Don't allow payments to get ahead of results.

Also be clear on who will be undertaking the work on each trade and get lien releases on larger jobs from each sub that did work before any added payment is made.

Also, find your own granite and appliances for the best pricing -they will be getting extra profits from their vendors that result in prices that won’t necessarily be to your benefit.

If you use this operation be VERY specific with your terms and payments. This will require significant changes to their contract for it to be neutral to both parties

As a response to the response by Dawn C. (owners response) that the Contractors License Board reviewed the matter and found no violations, I will simply allow the closing letter from the State of Nevada to speak for itself in contradicting their representation that no violations occurred.

Please contact the Nevada Contractors License Board and ask for the letter dated 11-7-25 on case # 30069149 and you will see contrary to this persons representations they were found in violation of state law NRS 624.970. You can request a public information request and obtain the letter without much trouble.

More like a nightmare than a dream.
1. Job was supposed to take 2-3 weeks but ended up taking over two months.
2. Cabinet pulls installed crooked.
3. Shower fixture installed crooked.
4. Shower fixture started leaking shortly after installation.
5. “Repaired” shower fixture started leaking shortly after “repair”. Still leaks.
6. Transition board between bath and bedroom installed backwards.
7. Onyx shower surface stained (permanently??) by the constant drip.
8. A text to the company regarding the problem went unanswered. When we phoned to see what could be done the salesman denied getting it which we found strange as they had received every other text we sent and that was our primary means of communication.
9. Through the entire demo/install process there was no supervision or quality control from the salesman or management. The only time we saw anyone was when they wanted a check.
10. When I asked if they could try to fix the leak problem I was told that the fixture was out of warranty, that I should have “taken some ownership” and complained sooner. Wow!
Bottom line, if you want to be over charged for a job that takes three times as long as bid and get the bonus of unpleasant customer service give them a call. They do have a very fancy showroom.

Worst Experience! A master bathroom remodel that was a disaster from the start. 2 years later and we’re still having issues with the project!

The job timeline was promised to be completed in 3 weeks. It took over 3 months.

The general contractor that did the work made so many mistakes during the course of the project that he has had to repeatedly return to correct issues with the work he did. Lots of little errors made in the installation process, delays, wrong items, etc.

The biggest issue was the master shower fixture. It was initially installed and apoxy’d crooked. Once that was corrected the fixture leaked continuously. We had onyx installed and the leak caused discoloration on the stone. We contacted dream makers via text which is how we communicated for the duration of the project and also once it was completed. They didn’t reply. Finally we contacted them via phone and were told that we’re out of the warranty phase of the work. They also said they never received our text depspite it showing that it was delivered, and to the person of contact for our project. They told us they aren’t going to fix the problem they created!!

We’re having to pay a plumber to replace the fixture and during inspection of the fixture the plumber discovered that it had also leaked on the back side of the wall.

Dream makers is over priced, under staffed, and they don’t do stellar work to begin with. Highly disappointed in the outcome!

I used dream maker in east bay for my property out in San Rafael. They did a great job. This franchise however is a complete mess. I put in an inquiry about it month ago, had to follow up again last week, and had my head bit off when I finally reached someone. Both people I have exchanges with came off as the most disingenuous, “fake nice” people I have ever come across. You think they would treat me better when I have multiple $75,000 projects for them and am ready to do business. If you’re reading this review, go give your business to a nice, local business like Byecraft Cabinets. Everyone at this franchise (not company) seems like truly horrible people.

We recently completed a remodel of all three bathrooms and our laundry room with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen, and the experience was overwhelmingly positive.

Shawn, the business owner, sets a high bar for quality and customer satisfaction. He’s committed to ensuring the work meets not only the client’s expectations but his own — which are impressively high.

Rachel, the designer, brought excellent vision and creativity to the project. She remained engaged throughout, helping us make smart design choices that truly elevated the final result.

Shaun, the job foreman, is highly skilled across all aspects of custom remodel work and especially strong in finish carpentry. He’s customer-focused and detail-oriented. However, due to his involvement in other projects, our timeline was extended by a couple of weeks. While this was a minor frustration, it didn’t detract from the overall quality of the work.

All subcontractors were solid, and the tile and granite teams were exceptional — their craftsmanship really stood out.

If you’re considering a remodel, DreamMaker offers a rare combination of technical skill, design excellence, and genuine care for the customer. We’re very happy with the outcome.

I wish I could give more stars. I received excellent service from the minute I contacted DreamMaker. Jeremy was a blessing. Morgan was awesome. I wish more companies had people like this. They definitely restored my faith that there are trustworthy companies that go above and beyond for their customers. They are genuine. Can’t wait to contact them for my next project!!!!

Paul and I couldn’t be happier with the results of our recent kitchen remodel! From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and surprisingly enjoyable. Jeremy, Rachel and Morgan really listened to our vision and brought fresh ideas that elevated the entire space. What used to be an outdated kitchen is now the heart of our home—bright, open, and incredibly functional.

Are carpenter Shaun was incredibly hardworking, respectful, and super detail-oriented. We appreciated him so much. He kept our home clean and made sure we were updated at every stage of the process. The cabinetry is gorgeous, the new countertops are stunning, and every drawer and appliance fits perfectly. It’s obvious they take real pride in their work.

My family and friends are blown away by the transformation. I honestly can’t recommend this team highly enough. If you’re thinking about remodeling your kitchen—do it. And work with people who care as much as these folks did. Worth every penny.

Jeremy had a wonderful first impression. He was helpful during the design process, and super accommodating during every bump in the project we ran into.
Sean , my general contractor was phenomenal. I don't think he gets the credit He deserves for all the work he puts in. He basically did my whole bathroom project himself besides the plumbing. Impressive , high quality work. The project was done quickly and when I brought up concerns, he addressed them. Stephanie did a great job helping design the bathroom itself, she gave her professional suggestions , but also was considerate of my wants. Overall a job well done. Another shout out to Sean! Thank you for all the help and professionalism throughout the whole job.

Flexibility mixed with fun formed the basis of our relationship and we were presented with superb choices, all of which includes the highest quality offerings. Pricing was spread over a broad range but never at the expense of quality. We have owned many homes in both Australia and the US but the final product DreamMakers delivered is our best one yet. What a wonderful group of people to work with. And their craftspeople are outstanding. This project, a complete remodel, was completed in a very short time. A wonderful experience and a stunning product.
