Empire Today LLC generally earns strong marks for professional installation, knowledgeable sales reps, and solid results, but frequent complaints about sales miscommunication, pricing disputes, and inconsistent follow-up dampen the experience.
Empire Today LLC receives mixed but predominantly positive feedback. Common themes praise professional installation, attentive sales staff, thorough product explanations, and efficient, clean work, with many customers noting attractive selections and strong value. However, recurring negatives include miscommunication from sales, missed appointments, price disagreements, and reports of aggressive financing or restocking fees, as well as occasional installation issues such as noise on stairs, damaged furniture, or color mismatches and follow-up gaps. Overall, the reputation skews positive when projects run smoothly and pricing is transparent, but strong evidence persists that improved communication and post-sale service are critical to maintain trust.

Dishonest company, salesman Brent Blazquez Jauregui, came out gave us an estimate for over-$10 K , said he will email it to us , he never did, we called several times and the customer service said they will inform him , still no estimate. He wanted to know how we made our money, what kind of car we drive, he was asking about a painting if it’s expensive, then Brent got angry when he realized we were video taping him and had cameras, he wanted us to turn off our cameras, we said NO, he said he have rights in our house, never turned off your cameras for strangers, always video with phone or cameras .SCAM AND FRAUDULENT COMPANY

We paid over $10k for LVP flooring in our house. Not even 9 months later, one of the planks began to rot up against the wall. After painfully requesting a rep come out and review the rotting plank, it took several weeks before they finally returned with a response. They were NOT going to honor the warranty and repair the damage, claiming that our 17 year old arthritic dog, who can barely hold himself up, must have clawed at the plank, destroying it. Absolutely despicable customer service and a complete violation of the warranty. I'd give them zero stars if that were an option; do yourself a favor and find another flooring company.

Spent over $10,000 on carpet that was sold as “high quality” and superior to our existing flooring. It was thin, flimsy, and looked dirty immediately. Installation was rushed and improper: bumps everywhere, jagged transitions, and visible defects on stairs.
Installers left staples in the carpet while I had a crawling baby and toddler — a serious safety issue. Empire’s own inspection flagged all problems, but repairs were only partially done because they “ran out of carpet.”
Two years later the carpet is worse. Scheduled a re-stretching appointment, waited all day, and no one showed up. Minimal apology, just asked to reschedule.
Worst $10,000 I’ve ever spent. Misleading sales, unsafe installation, and zero accountability. Go local.

You didn't give me any resolution!!! You just come back with excuse after excuse as to why its all our fault!!!! so what is this resolution you are referring to because this is the first time hearing about it.
ALSO,
I found an attorney that will look at anyone's problem that they are having with empire. His name is MIKE AGRUSS
His website that you can contact him is
agrusslawfirm.com

Please go to
"EMPIRE TODAY CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS"

My attorney is interested in filing a class action lawsuit against them. This company doesn't know who they ripped off. I'm a retired Veteran with a lot of time on my hands. So please go to Facebook where you can tell us what happened to you and we can all talk with each other. I told you empire that I would be doing this and you didn't listen. What ya think jodi???

I purchased wall-to-wall carpeting from Empire Today for my 6,500 sq ft home, first floor 5 years ago, and second floor 4 years ago, and I deeply regret it. For the amount of money I spent, I expected durability, proper installation, and a company that stands behind its product. Instead, the carpeting is now buckling, warping, and lifting in multiple areas throughout my home. It looks terrible, it creates tripping hazards, and it completely undermines the purpose of investing in a “professional” install.
To make matters worse, the links to the e-mail they sent me on 8/1/20, "Keep Important Information for your Records - Warranty," don't even work. And Empire refuses to repair or replace the problematic areas. They happily took the money upfront, but the moment there’s a real issue years later, the customer support disappears.
It’s extremely frustrating that companies like this love to send surveys a few weeks after installation asking for “5-star feedback” — as if the true measure of quality is how it looks on day 30. The real test is how well the product endures after a few years of actual living, and unfortunately, Empire Today fails that test completely. A company’s commitment to quality should be judged over time, not just at installation.
The carpet I had before this install was 20+ years old, and if it wasn't for the pile and color, I would have been better off keeping it, as it had endured over 20 years.
If you’re considering Empire for carpeting, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. It might look great for a month, but the real story begins after that — and it’s not worth the price, the hassle, or the lack of accountability.

Sales rep experience was not good at all. Things were missed appts not upheld. He did not explain the difference in the material. It wasn’t until the installers came and asked questions that we realized how much info was missed. Terrible experience.

Update to my defective laminate flooring.
I was finally contacted by Jodi Abril
National Customer Care Manager for empire.
I paid for a Florida Licensed Home Inspector to come over and inspect our floors and for a written inspection of what caused the laminate to separate. His report confirmed that the laminate is defective and that it was 10 years old, no name, laminate that they installed. Cheap as they come laminate.
I sent the report to Jodi and guess what? She said that they could not accept the report from a licensed home inspector. LOL, OK. Just more excuses after excuse as to why they will not do anything to correct the problem that they have installed.
I will be opening a website very soon where all customers that have had problems with the company can go to and spread the word about this terrible company that could care less about their customers.
So, I have contacted our Attorney, and we will be going to small claims court here in Florida. I will keep everyone updated on the outcome of the case. It is just unbelievable that it must come to this when they have proof that it is cheap old defective laminate.
Brian Hutto, the CEO, should investigate how his company is handling all the negative issues that empire has and start helping their many customers instead of just making any excuse that they can come up with not to correct the problem that they installed. Just look here at all the negative reviews. That says it all.
