I made an appointment for a bid from them and unfortunately had some unexpected car trouble and was panicking that I may not have transportation and missed out appointment.
Mind you, I am displaced from my home and told the scheduler to have the sales person to call me when they were on their way with his ETA.
I apologized and told him I had some unexpected car issues and completely slipped my mind AND, he was supposed to call me when leaving g his boot appointment. Didn’t happen.
I asked if he was still in the area (39 mins later). He said no I’m back in Hazelwood. This must be an insurance claim right? Like what does that even matter?
The salesman was the owner, who was very rude, telling me I had wasted his time, kept repeating how he was giving me a FREE quote (aren’t they all)? And although all of this was over text you can read a TONE by the way he communicated his thoughts.
I was finally to the point where I said if you do t want to bid the work then just tell me. I was that frustrated! Like NO GRACE for having car trouble. And who cares that he didn’t call me to let me o or he was on his way.
So I called the office and asked to speak to the manger about the person who was to bid my home. She said he’s the owner. Then he gets peeved because I called to complain about him. Well looking at the reviews.. I’m not the only one he treats this way.
All said and done, I would never recommend this company to tolerate this behavior. Period.

I met Dave about a year and a half ago when I called for an estimate to replace my basement windows. His expertise of not only my windows but my entire house was amazing. He knew how the houses in my neighborhood were constructed and had done work on several others in my neighborhood. He ended up giving me advice on how to fix draft issues with my front door, told me how old the other windows in my house were, and gave me advice on what to do about my sliding door which was much more than I expected. And it wasn’t to sell me on services but to genuinely share his knowledge. We are a veteran household and I didn’t even know that the company gave discounts for that, I appreciate that he asked me to help save me some money. I recently called him again when the glass door on the front of my house had started to fall out of the frame and the spring at the bottom had come off after a storm. He fixed both issues in a matter of 30 mins and didn’t charge me a thing. I would recommend Dave and his company to anyone and I will continue to use his services exclusively.

We had water leak problem under our siding. Dave and his crew at Energy View worked diligently to resolve the issue. I feel they were more than fair with us. Energy View is an excellent company that I highly recommend.

Energy View home improvements did an excellent job on our purchase of 5 new windows across the front of our house. Dave Elliott sold us windows that are very energy efficient. These windows are similar to the 7 energy efficient windows we love on the back of our house that were installed 10 years ago. This year, Energy View Home Improvements,
this fine company installed new GAF shingles on our roof. The installers did a professional job. Thank you Dave Elliott!

Dave helped us with our siding choice and we were not disappointed.
We went with Charter Oak Premium Vinyl Siding Featuring Neopor Technology. Below is our first winter experience with the new siding:
We have now gone through a few really cold nights so we can report on the insulated siding. We have lived in our house for 29 years and were always cold in the kitchen and TV room. The shower wall was so cold you would hate to touch it when showering. Now, after installing the new insulated siding and house wrap, it's like a new house. It's warm in every room and the shower wall is no longer cold. Even the garage is 30 degrees warmer than the temperature outside. It's amazing!

Dave spent an hour and 1/2 explaining the job and the result including the costs. Dave and I are both Army Vets and we shared stories. His approach, (not just Vets), made me trust him. I had 3 years of raccoon damage to the roof, so the raccoon could get into the attic. Dave proposed a layer of aluminum in addition to other changes. It's early, but I don't expect to hear raccoon feet running in the attic.
The job was finished on time and they did a wonderful job. Dave and his workers had to repair raccoon damaged boards in addition, and Dave had pictures showing how they would repair them throughout the roof repair. Clean up was very good.
I urge Vets and non Vets to consider hiring this company. I highly recommend!

Our house suffered from hail damage hence I dealt with many contractors but this one, Energy View Home Improvements, was the worst experience.
Dave the owner told me so many lies.
"Your roof is leaking and needs replacement" without inspecting it.
"You need to replace your siding" even when in good working condition and not damaged by hail because it is "a buyers' housing market". It is September 2024 and everyone knows that it is a sellers' market and replacing perfectly good siding for the extra 4-5k makes no sense.
"Your walls have mold because your siding has mold". Every year we get the siding cleaned.
Give me a break! So many lies and pressuring us to do unnecessary work! After the visit the cricketers, total silence. This was the worst used car salesman performance I have ever seen.

This was the best experience in my renovation journey. First, the owner came to my home and explained and educated me about windows. It was very enlightening. Then, when the windows arrived for installation, it happened so quickly, I was amazed. The owners of the company came to check out the product and the installation. They cleaned everything up and made sure we were happy. I highly recommend them for any service. Their customer service was amazing. Thank you fellas!!

In May 2021 we had 8 windows replaced by this company. The windows and installation were of high quality and craftsmanship. So in March of 2022 we purchased 8 more double hung windows to replace our older casement windows. This time the experience was not so good. The salesman and installer both measured incorrectly and when the windows came in they would not fit. They both admitted they should have measured differently since we were replacing the casement windows with double hung. This change in window types also affected the amount of glass area we had in the window. We lost up to 1/2" of window going from a casement to a double hung. Neither the salesman or the installer mentioned this fact. The also did not tell us they would have to install molding around the window since a double hung was replacing a casement. The kitchen window sill were we placed plants before we can no longer do because of the installed molding. If we had known this in advance we would have ordered a casement window not a double hung. My wife then had to stain the molding they supplied. And after installation she had to stain again to match the window and put 2 coats of poly on. On 4 of the new windows the screens will not fit squarely on the sill and some of the inside handles were nicked up when they were shipped or manufactured. We are being compensated for the stain and glue we supplied for the installation. We feel we should be further compensated for the time my wife spent purchasing the stain and doing the actual staining of the molding. Unlike in 2021 we are not at all satisfied with this experience.

Dave has been out several times for various things. He has worked around my schedule. I ordered windows and then several weeks later a door. They all ended up coming in at the same time. Terry and his crew came out and got right to work getting everything installed.
Installer Dave did most of the inside work and answered all of my questions while he was working. He even gave me good information on another project that was coming up. I checked things every step of the way. Everything was done neatly and cleaned up after. The only issues I came up with were the correct screens didn't come in. They were replaced a few days ago with the correct screens.
My second door was recently installed and both doors/storm doors look great.
Next project big front windows and siding maybe?
