From the sales guys to the finished product, I have to say these guys, though not the most affordable, but very thorough and professional and took the time to explain things was a real winning combination to me. I mean even the financing was taken care of every step of the way and very open for questions or comments. I wish I had somemone like these guys fix my wife's car and my truck when I need to take it to a dealer. I am a design engineer and how they explained what happened to my only 18 year old roof, it all made sense why it went bad and it was not the materials, it was the installation and the time of it. I got 5 bids and could have had it done for under half the price, but any bimbo can throw shingles onto a roof - my old roof was proof of that fiasco - and stop water damage, but with what the Erie guys did and how they installed and other materials and the application of the newer materials (I also did remodeling and roofs when I was a kid) in the assembly of the roof, I believe this "assembly" is going to have way better endurance than I had with this replaced roof. Yes, it was rather expensive to me, but it was worth the couple extra bucks to get a great job. Thank you Erie Home for all the help I got and taking the time to explain thing. Loved meeting everyone involved and even could say I made a new friend or two.

I am 78 years old, and my home features a roof with a total area of 3,000 square feet. Initially, I was interested in replacing my existing shingles with a metal roof. After seeing an advertisement from Erie Homes, I responded and scheduled an appointment with their team.

Consultation and Decision Process:

On the day of the appointment, I met with one of Erie Homes' representatives. He provided an in-depth presentation of the various roofing options available. As someone who values quality, I was impressed by the materials used in each type of roof. Ultimately, I decided to stay with the shingle type, primarily because of the durability offered by the 1) Ice and Water shield, 2) Underlayment type and 3) the superior quality of the Shingles themselves. Throughout the process, I did not feel pressured by the representative to make a purchase. My decision was based solely on the Quality of the products presented, Warranty and the fact it can be transferred to a new owner if we decide to sell the home.

Installation Experience:

The day before installation, all necessary materials were delivered to my house. The following morning, a crew of six arrived at 8:00 AM and began removing the old shingles from the roof. The workers were professional, straightforward, and exceptionally diligent. The installation manager was present for the entire day, overseeing the project until it was completed around 6:30 PM.

Post-Installation Cleanup

After the installation was completed, the crew ensured my property was left spotless. No fragments of roofing, tar paper, or trash was left behind to include using a strong magnet to pick up any nail fragments. They left leaving my property in a very pristine condition. In summary, we love the roof and feel very secure with the 30 year warranty.

Submitted a request for a quote for basement waterproofing and less than a minute later got a phone call to setup an inspection for an estimate. The estimate team was very thorough and explained everything well. The pre-demo crew covered all our furniture and items and explained the process well. Next the demo and install crew came and did a great job of keeping task but still gave me an opportunity to ask questions. Lastly the office crew helped us get all the paperwork we needed to present to the bank so we could get moving on a home equity loan. Everyone was friendly and easy to get in touch with and always ask permission to do something and answered all our questions and requests too.
