UPDATE ** Erus Energy went bankrupt. I can no longer get any answers or service. I did research, and it is not good.
Since all of the permits were issued to Erus Energy, no solar installer will want to work on my system.
I called the manufacturer of the parts of the solar panels, and luckily, all of the components were made by the same company. The manufacturer will warranty the components for 10 yrs but not service or production of energy.
Yes, everyone at Erus is very friendly, and when you call customer service, they are very professional and helpful, however, friendliness has nothing to do with the delivery of very expensive purchase.
The contract for the installation of the panels was signed on 11/2021, I had to constantly email the project manager for an update on the installation because they would not update me on their own.
The panel install did not start until 05/2022, and the project was finally finished in Nov. 2022, a year after we had signed the contract. In the meantime, I had to pay for both the loan for the panels, and the normal electricity bill.
When we first talked to the sales person, she gave us an estimate of how much power we would generate. She draw a layout of how many panels were going to fit on top of the main house, and in order for the system to produce the amount of power she had promised, additional panels were going to be installed on the roof of a guest house; so we signed the contract based on that energy production estimate and layout.
The sales lady told us that in order for the panels to be installed, the roof of both houses had to be in good condition.
We replaced the roof on top of the guest house for the panel install and an inspector came to verify the condition of both roofs; however, the panels were not installed on top of the guest house. I have inquired about this a few times with our project managers, but so far, I haven't gotten a response.
When the panel install was finalized, I received an email from our project manager congratulating us and that was it.
We never had anyone walk us through how the system works, how much power it was producing, how much power we are sending back to the grid, warranty, battery, Nothing! I do not see a battery on my system so I do not know if we have a battery.
We've only had the panels working for the cold season but it seems like my electric bill has not changed from previous winters. I live in AZ, so there is no excuse for my electricity bill not changing; it hardly rains here.
Again I reached out to my project manager at Erus, and after a few days she replied telling she was no longer my project manager, and she directed me to my new project manager. I sent an email to the new project manager. After a few days, the new project manager informed me that upon the completion of the panel installation, Enphase should have reached out to me to tell me to download their app to see in real-time energy production and consumption. I did not know this either because no one told me.
After doing a search on my email, I did find that Enphase had reached out in the form of an email, and I had completely missed the email. In that email were instructions on how to download an app so that I can see the information I was looking for. I visited Enphase's webpage and found out that my system should have a battery, and if my system is not generating the amount of energy expected for it to produce, there could be a problem. Also, on their website, I found warranty information.
So, in conclusion, I still do not know why the rest of the panels were not installed on the roof of the guest house, my electricity bill has not changed, I do not know if my system is producing what it was intended to produce, I am still paying a large electricity bill plus the loan payment of the panels, I did not get a walk through of how the thing works, or that I needed to download an app.
So, at the moment I would not recommend Erus to anyone.

I did not think my experience with Erus could get any worse. After fighting for over a year to have my system installed. I have a possible warranty situation and find out Erus has gone bankrupt and now my warranty is as useless as the promises made by this disaster of a company. Fraud does not scene begin to cover all they lied about

If I could give zero stars I would. This company has put us through so much hell!
It took a year to get turned on, we started paying on the loan 6 months before turn on, still owe us 4 months loan payments, now our system is down 2 months. Put in a call and could only give 2 week away appointment. Then, as predicted, they did not show up, they took 250 dollars out of our account, they won't give another appointment for 2 more weeks! I swear they're doing this on purpose. They are stealing from us! We are paying full electric bill on top of loan payment now! The mosaic loan company is just as big a thief as Erus. Gave them 7000 dollars just to find out it doesn't hit a target balance so our payment will go up next month! Do not give them business or you will regret it! We are hurting financially because of them! And I don't want your sorry and that you value your customers because you don't value us, you keep us in utter stress emotionally and financially!

Chase was really helpful, he obliged my myriad questions, and presented a solar solution that made sense. Thanks!
PS, make sure you are clear on all components and the functionality, I am still working to sort out solar panel function in a power outage. Also, you may need to follow up to ensure any conduit installed is painted to match the house.

Heed this warning, do not do business with Erus. I have never had a worse experience in my 60 years of life, even the IRS comes in second. If I ran Erus I would personally call the person who wrote this review, and I would somberly ask to hear the whole story. In business, if you want to be successful, your failures are pure gold to help you toward that end. I have reason to believe they will not contact me, as you will read.
I have resisted sharing my frustration online, but it is clear Erus is poorly managed and they do not care to fix the problem. Perhaps this is a Phoenix area problem, I can't understand why all the reviews are not bad. My system is very expensive, and it took a FULL YEAR to complete. Erus project management is an insult. I was my own project manager. I was told by an Erus "project manager" early in the project that I should call and complain frequently because that is the only way my project will get attention, and so I did. Even so it took a full year, otherwise I would still be waiting.
I do not have an angry personality, but I found my inner anger exists thanks to Erus. I had to tell them what the status was and push to get the next phase initiated. I read one review that said it was just like Groundhog Day - that is absolutely correct. I had to reload their memory each time I called.
Now my system has been live for 1 month and it's apparently dead. For the honor of getting a service call, one must pay $250 in advance. I will eat my hat if I get a scheduling call from Erus without my hounding their customer support. My hat is not in jeopardy, I assure you. I was told that if they find there is no problem, in spite of customer support agreeing a crew must come out, or somehow I did something to cause this (how?) then I will not be reimbursed. I have no confidence that Erus will volunteer to refund the $250, I expect they have a revenue category titled "Customer Apathy" where a certain percentage of customers do not use all means at their disposal to be reimbursed. I am not apathetic.

Had a very good experience with The Erus Solar Project and am well pleased with the results. They
Also would like to add that I feel like this project was successful mainly because of my agent (“Adriana Vasquez”).
Her Professionalism, Courtesy and Warmth among other things was a major factor in us getting to this point and she should be applauded. Because of her hard work I plan to do more business with Erus in the future.
(“Thank You So Very Much”)!!

I was not 100% on board going Solar. We had three different companies come out. I felt most comfortable with Jason Lord, he had patience with me, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. He answered all my calls and text messages and I do mean ALL. I am very happy with the Company they showed up on time and gave us step by step what was happening next.

It's been an entire year since my system was installed...and I couldn't be happier! The math makes sense, the benefits were instantaneous, and I really appreciate spending less money to be more comfortable AND doing better for the environment.
The savings are real: My SRP electric bill is on average HALF of what it used to be, plus I'm much more apt to turn the AC down now that it's so affordable. My 1,600 sq. ft. house used to be kept 77- 80 degrees BEGRUDGINGLY in the summer for $250-280/month. Now, I keep the house at whatever temperature I desire, without worth because 70-74 degrees only equals a mere $120 bill. I financed the whole system, but even if I only paid the minimum, I would still save at least $50 on any given month (until it's paid off!). Plus, I saw an instant boost in efficiency after the duct sealing process with Aeroseal.
The process was quick and simple. It barely took seven weeks from the initial visit and signing to installation day, which includes the permitting process from the city. Kody walked me through every detail and kept in touch long after I signed the contract. He was thorough from the beginning, so I really didn't have any questions or unpleasant surprises. He made it easy and painless!
Financing options were clear and the rates were competitive. No sales pressure or gimmicky offers there.
As far as the system itself? No complaints and no issues.
Aside from my personal experience, I can honestly attest to the ease and efficiency of working with Erus Energy for my solar panels. As a marketing director for other local home improvement companies, I know horror stories of pop-up contractors who are never in business long enough to honor their warranties. I've seen exactly what happens when homeowners don't do their due diligence...don't be that victim by picking the first cheap solar offer you find! (P.S. Most fly-by-night don't have a chance to get too many complaints with the AZ Registrar of Contractors or Better Business Bureau before they disappear!)
If you made it this far, I highly suggest you call Kody and get your solar panels from Erus Energy!
