I had the most beautiful interview today with JR about a solar installation on my house. He explained everything in a language that I could stand with explainastion as we moved along and without his patience I would have been lost because he explained it some times more than once

Natalia came to our home for a presentation tonight and what a delight she is! She was very thorough about the company and what they provide, and before she left, she prayed with us. Knowing that this company uses American made products AND are believers, we are looking forward to have them install solar for our home.

Our presentation with Julio Bernal was quite informative. He was patient, kind, understanding, informative, and answered every single one of our questions.
He took his time and explained everything he could. Then, he called his manager to explain some of the things he wasn't too sure about. Definitely recommend him for any and all of your solar needs.

****Updated review a year later. This company filed bankruptcy after I specifically asked if they were in any financial trouble. Our system never fully worked and we asked them tlnumerous times to come out to fix it. No one ever came out and it was never fixed.
They lied about the amounts we were supposed to be paying.
Our electric bill was still the same and now we were supposed to be paying 2 bills instead of 1.
What a scam. They did a really great job of pushing us in to something we were definitely not ready for.
Looking in to legal action against them at this point.

We are halfway through the process of transitioning to solar with the assistance of Evergreen Solar Solutions and we could not be more satisfied with every aspect of our engagement with this company and its impressive, professional staff. From the outset, communications have been clear, responses to questions timely, and each step of the process has occurred according to the schedule as originally planned explained and agreed upon. Installation will take place shortly and we are looking forward to returning to this space to provide Evergreen Solar with another 5-star thank you for what we expect to be an outstanding job.

Manuel Hernandez was amazing and he was very informative. Manny didn’t mind explaining over and over again and he answered every single question I had. I definitely recommend this business to EVERYONE!

Janet has been amazing. She has answered every question i have had. She has Also help me out of a little bit of a situation. She has gone well beyond what I have expected. I cannot recommend Janet enough. I could only give her five stars. I wish I could do more. Her problem-solving skills are off the chart. I can’t say enough nice things about her..

Evergreen Solar excels in sales and customer engagement—before signing the contract, their team was exceptional. They answered all my questions promptly, with professionalism and enthusiasm, making me feel confident in my decision. Their communication was top-notch—quick, detailed, and reassuring.

However, once the contract was signed and the installation process began, the level of support declined. Responses became slower, shorter, and less engaging. When I reached out for guidance on turning on my system after receiving permission to operate from the utility company, I only received a brief message: “It should be automatic from here.” No greeting, no follow-up, nothing like the attentive service I had experienced before.

Realizing I wasn’t going to get much help, I contacted the installation company, Castaway Energies, the next day. Within 15 minutes, they had my system up and running with excellent customer service—polite, professional, and eager to assist.

Overall, Evergreen Solar provides outstanding service when selling a product, but their post-sale support leaves much to be desired. Once the deal is closed, the commitment to customer care seems to fade.

Update:

Since my system was turned on, it has continued to experience issues. Every day around 1–2 PM, the system stops communicating, and a breaker in the panel trips. Out of 16 panels, only one remains on. I have to manually reset the breaker daily, and despite reporting the issue, I am still waiting for service to address whatever poor job was done during installation.

They leased me solar panels then the company filled for bankruptcy. After which they have no contact with the new company acquired. Not to mention they have not been able to provide any info on services or how to cancel services. The worst part is they LIED about the system and the output it was suppose to produce. Helmi was our sales rep and he failed us tremendously. Now evergreen is telling me I’m on the hook for 214k after they didn’t provide any of the right information and sold me a faulty system

We had Michael Alpert come out to give us a presentation and explain everything to us. The experience was educational and he actually he made it enjoyable. He did not pressure us at all. I refuse to do business with any sales person who makes me feel pushed. We told him what we wanted out of switching to solar and why we were thinking about doing it. He was able to meet exactly what we were aiming for. During the process we also dealt with Helene and Vern, both were very nice on the phone and again zero pressure. If your thinking of going solar I highly recommend giving them a call.

Natalia was very professional and knowledgeable in the field of solar power. We enjoyed our time spent working on for-filling my vision and desires.
