I chose this company because I believed they were a reputable, family-owned business and expected transparency throughout the process. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.

Before anyone came to my home, I informed the owner, Steven Meares, that I intended to use insurance proceeds to pay for the replacement door and that I would need to wait for my insurance funds before moving forward. He sent Brandon Yeager to perform the initial consultation.

During the consultation, Brandon helped me select a door and provided a price. He advised that a credit check was required to participate in their services. At no point was I informed that I was applying for financing or taking out a loan. I later discovered that a hard inquiry had been placed on my credit report. When I raised this concern with Gary, who came the following day to verify measurements, he acknowledged that I should have been informed that financing was being arranged.

During Gary’s visit, I was also told that the price and door I had originally been quoted were incorrect and that I would need to select a different door. I was not satisfied with the replacement option and became increasingly concerned about the inconsistencies in the information I was receiving.

Within approximately 72 hours, I notified the company that I did not wish to proceed. My decision was based on the undisclosed financing inquiry, the conflicting information regarding pricing and product selection, and my overall discomfort with the process. I was then informed that I owed a 10% cancellation fee because the company claimed work had already begun. When I requested documentation showing that the door had been ordered, I was not provided with what I considered sufficient proof.

My experience left me feeling misled and frustrated. I encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review all documents, ask detailed questions about financing, cancellation policies, and product specifications, and ensure they fully understand what they are signing before proceeding.

Exterior Point LLC was amazing to work with. From start to finish they were super professional and accomaditing. Matt my project manager was on top of stuff from the begenning and very helpful. You will not be sorry for hiring these guys.

The windows look amazing. They came on time. Protected all the furniture. Installed quickly. Very thorough. Friendly. It was a great experience. Highly recommend.

I have only good things to say about Exterior Point and the work they did on my home (replacing 10 windows and our front door). Communication was great and the crew did an excellent job of protecting our furniture during the installation and cleanup afterwards.
