Scheduled roughly August-Sept. ARRIVED July 31 on time. No one spoke much English but it wasn't a problem. Manny had a phone that translated if I didn't understand. I usually knew what he was struggling to say. The 3 of them installed two sets of Storm sliding doors in one day. It went very well, they were very careful, they prepared well with plastic curtains. They cleaned up and did a great job. Very professional. This is my second experience with them.
I highly recommend the company.

Avoid Florida Window & Door. We called for a quote and signed with our initial Sales Rep, Tim, on 11/30. Tim measured our front door and sliders that we wanted converted to French doors and picked out a design for both the same day we signed. Tim told us a tech would come out to do another measure and double check. The tech came out 12/12 to measure. Permit docs were submitted 12/30 and then we didn’t hear anything for 5 weeks. On 1/18 Joe McCormick reached out to explain that BOTH doors were measured incorrectly by Tim and that the designs needed to be changed and updated. We had to change the entire design from the glass privacy for the front door, and the inset blinds in the french doors, to a different design that we weren’t able to have either upgrade. That was the first disappointment. It wasn’t until 1/30 that paperwork was updated to reflect the new door designs AFTER I had to reach out to Joe to send them. The new timeline according to Joe was 8-12 weeks. 3/21 I reached out to Joe (mind you permits have been submitted) to ask if there was as an update he said we were waiting on product but should be soon.). 4/4 I still didn’t hear anything, so I called and asked for an update. The receptionist informed me that permits have not been submitted, and product wouldn’t be ordered until permits were in and approved and would be ANOTHER 8-12 weeks. Even though Joe said we were waiting on product and it would be soon. Permits went in months ago and it doesn’t take 8-12 weeks to update paperwork. I reached out to Joe on 4/4 expressing my concerns, no call, no text, nothing. I called to speak to a supervisor, Collin, on 4/25 and 5/02 and (shocker) didn’t receive a call back. 5/16 our product was ordered and shipped and the install date is 7/8. The crew gets here and they asked if the door was measured on the inside or outside, we said inside, and because of that they had to cut into our tile to install it. They were also sent the completely wrong trim, we asked for black and were given white. They told me it would be a week for install once the doors arrived at the warehouse for inspection, but it looks like they either didn’t actually inspect the door or are unsure of the difference between black and white.
Our contract stated that it’s 16-24 weeks from the initial measure, which was 12/12. So if we’re looking at it from the MAX timeline, our doors should have been installed on May 29th. However, we were always told 8-12 weeks from the receptionist and the sales team, and I understand the 16-24 weeks is a contingency to protect them if the project goes over. Well it went even beyond that and weren't installed until July.
The only 5 star rating belongs to the crew who installed the doors. They were fabulous. Christina, who reached out day of install and helped coordinate after inspection was also great. Truly wish I could give a better review because the doors are perfect and beautifully installed which is what matters. However, the lack of communication is horrible, your home office and sales reps aren’t aligned with their communications and the expectations Florida Window & Door set are not met. This entire experience has been frustrating and unpleasant.

We had windows replaced in May. We were left with more clean-up than I expected, but it is what it is. We had damage done to a tiled shower when the window was replaced. An employee took pictures and said someone would get back with us to get it repaired. That was on 5/5/25. I have sent emails and left messages, and there no response. I've been happy with the windows, but their customer service sucks. I would have expected much more after we purchased thousands of dollars worth of windows from them. I wouldn't recommend them.
Updated 7/1/25 Sent a complaint to the BBB, and their response was fixing any damage they caused is not covered in the contract we signed. So, there's nothing I can do now but pay someone to repair the tile after giving Florida Windows and door thousands of dollars. WOW

Florida Window and Door is an awesome company to do business with. Fabrice was the person in charge of the installation process, Fabrice was very good at his job, he was very informative and the best thing about him was his communication skills. Anything that was addressed was taken care of immediately. Inspection passed the first time. Richard and his crew were the installers, what a great job they did with a lot of attention to detail. If I ever need windows again Florida Window and Door would get another job from me

We had a great experience. My windows and my new door are beautiful. The installation crew was professional and friendly and very efficient. There was no mess left behind and the communication once installation started was great, including all of the info about inspections.

Donna was absolutely great with getting us a good quote on our windows and one door. We have impact windows already but after 20 plus years, a couple are starting to leak. She was able to get our whole house quoted using a sound dampening argon filled impact glass at a very affordable price! She visited us twice to get the quote and financing done (first visit ended up well after hours so we had some financing questions that couldn't be answered at that time). She even brought us our own Keychain "Shelly" (their turtle mascot) and supported our small business!!
She was direct and upfront about everything and was able to answer all questions we had. Most importantly, she took her time explaining everything to us and made us feel comfortable in our decision. If you are looking to upgrade your windows give Florida Windows and Doors a call and ask for Donna!!

Do Not Use This Company! Worst experience with an installation company we have ever experienced! They 100% sub out the installations. The installers showed up at my house, broke every window with a hammer and glass shards went everywhere to include inside & outside my home. They didn’t use any precaution methods like tape or sticky film to prevent glass from falling out. 4 months later, I am still picking up pieces of glass from my lawn, flower beds, within all my brick pavers under my Linai and driveway. We are still finding small pieces of glass inside my home as well. They dragged the broken windows from the back of my home through my yard and onto my driveway. My daughter was walking through her room a month later stepped on a piece of glass and cut her foot.
The installers removed three downstairs windows hurricane shutter rails that were not being changed out. When I explained this to FL Window & Door customer service, they said they would replace them but never did. They also said they would remove all the glass pieces from my yard, brick pavers, and flower beds. Never did! It’s now 4 months later and nothing has been done after several phone calls. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB as well. I would like someone from FL Window & Door to step up, call me and compete the job!

Excellent professional work! Replacing windows can be stressful but they did everything in one day and left our home spotless. Communication and the web site showing stages of the process was outstanding. The windows themselves are very high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend Florida Window & Door.

Not only do these windows provide unsurpassed security and protection for our home, they are also beautiful! Working with Florida Window and Door was amazing. They did whatever it took to insure our project, which included every window and door, was completed without issue. From the sales team to the installers, everyone did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them.

I do not have a problem with the windows or doors my problem is with the people that comes to you to sell the products to you. They need more training about the products they sell. I have two different French doors I think the install is good the cosmetics they is left to the homeowner to fix and it’s expensive to even do small jobs. I told the sales guy sometimes when you remove doors they may or may not line back up to cover big gaps between the tiles and the new door his response was all don’t worry don’t worry we take care of everything, so once the door was installed I ask what about the big gap the installer said it’s not included you have to hire someone to do fix so now um upset. So I call to complain and all they can say is the doors were installed by code I said um sure they were. Insure your sales personnel are not just giving people lip service just to get a sales they said they can fill with concrete but it’s still going to look awful so I’ll pay for it myself in the future give the customer option don’t sell him a dream of taking care of everything
