About The Home Depot

When The Home Depot was founded in 1978, Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank had no idea how revolutionary this new "hardware store" would be for home improvement and the retail industry. Today, we're proud to be the world's largest home improvement retailer. In more than 2,200 stores across North America, we aspire to excel in service - to our customers, associates, communities, and shareholders. That's what leadership means to us. That's The Home Depot difference.

Modernize Verified Job
Windows were measured WRONG, Had to be Re-measured, reordered with an additional 3 weeks waiting time, then finish trim was not even primed, nor called, home owner had to complete the install himself !? For 9k dollars, I expected BETTER Service and a more professional overall experience !? Tore house apart Twice, interrupted MY day TWICE and Overall I'm Very Dis-satisified.

The sales rep was professional and courteous, but the exact same Milgard windows can be purchased for less than a third of the price at 4 local vendors who are all certified Milgard dealers with licensed and bonded installers (all with great reputations). The $149 installation charge per window is just a gimmick that "allows" them to charge more for the product. At the end of the day the project would have cost 150% more than any other Milgard dealer. Home Depot is a big name and a tried and true company, but there is no way I can justify spending that much more for the exact same end result.
