There are a number of options to pay for a solar installation. There are companies that specialize in solar loans, that allow you to take advantage of the federal tax credit (ITC) up front, with $0.00 down! This gives you the flexibility of extremely low payments, which are often even lower than the electricity bill the system is eliminating for you.
These types of loans for home solar are the most popular way to finance, about 80% of our homeowners choose this option. However, you can also pay with cash or a same-as-cash loan, to start seeing savings with no monthly payments right away. You can roll solar into a mortgage or a construction loan. This question can only really be answered by you, however. Excellent customer service experience and very reasonable cost on panels. Jake is a great agent who will get back with you quickly. When getting my panels installed, Justin even fixed my broken breaker box door just to be nice. They also use some of the best panels and inverters with the best warranties on the market. Highly recommend.

I had a solar panel system installed last year after being fed up with constant increases in my electric bill. Gold Path was the best both in price and quality of the multiple quotes I received. They took the time from day 1 to answer all of my questions and make sure I was satisfied. They valued my input, even adjusting the panel configuration based on my knowledge of sun/shade hours as homeowner. Install was quick and completed in one day.
I had a unique issue with my setup and measuring production because of having two breaker panels, but Alex kept working with me to get it sorted out and really went the extra mile. Things are great now and my electric bills show that AES owes me money instead of the other way around, even when running the AC all summer. The solar credit was a great boost to my tax return as well.
Looking back, I wish I would have gone with a battery setup as well to maximize my energy independence. But it or more panels will be an easy enough add-on to the system now that the hard work is done.

GoldPath Solar installed over 100 solar panels on our business, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. When hiring a contractor, there’s always that worry they won’t deliver on what they promise — but that couldn’t have been further from the truth here. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. Communication was excellent throughout, and every member of the team was honest, transparent, and easy to work with. After much research, we decided to use Gold Path as our Solar delivery partner and we couldn’t be happier. Gold Path is owned and operated by Jake T. From inception to final inspection and beyond, Jake was actively engaged. We spoke directly with Jake on numerous occasions. He answered ALL of our initial and follow-up questions, advised us on all available equipment and manufacturers, fielded all of our concerns and managed everything from initial survey through final inspection with expediency and professionalism. Jake still checks in on us. There is nothing we were dissatisfied with in the experience, and the end result exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. We give Jake and Gold Path Solar our highest recommendation. If you’re thinking about Solar, do yourself a favor and call on Gold Path. FYI, we included a Battery back up system on ours.

At first I was skeptical that solar would work, but after I got my first bill my concerns were gone. I only had the panels for half the billing cycle and still had a negative electric bill!
Gold Path is super easy to work with. I worked with Karim K, who was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I felt comfortable in my decision to move forward with solar working with these guys, and I didn’t feel pressured.
Once we decided to move forward, he and his team kept me updated every step along the way and were always quick to respond if I had any concerns or questions.
The install process was a breeze. They were super efficient, and the install looks great with no issues!

I have gotten quotes from pretty much every solar company servicing Ohio. No one was more helpful friendly and knowledgeable than Jake with Gold Path Solar. It took my wife and I some time to decide to move forward with solar and during that time Jake was very helpful without being pushy. Moving forward with Gold Path Solar was the best decision we could have made. We were not passed off to a third party company as so many solar providers do. We worked with Jake the entire time. He kept us informed the entire time, even if it was just to let us know we were still waiting on permits. When issues arose not only were we informed right away, but solutions were presented to us. The service we have received has been next level. We now have our system up and running and it has been flawless. We can not thank Jake and the team at Gold Path enough for everything. When I decided to get solar panels installed, I had three companies bid on the project. Gold Path Solar provided the most transparent bid that did not have any hidden surprises. There is a single point of contact that helps you in the bidding phase, installation phase, and keeps in touch post installation to make sure everything is working as expected.
The product installed has been working very well so far and even in the winter skies, the system is producing enough electric to offset my energy bill.
The financing company (Climate First Bank) that was recommended by Gold Path Solar left much to be desired, however, they are an independent company and they deserve their own separate review.

We have always been skeptical of door-to-door solar salespeople, but when Gunner with Gold Path Solar came to our door back in March, we were pleasantly surprised by his politeness and courtesy. He noted that we had a no soliciting sign, and asked if he could just leave us some information about the product. We agreed and he was on his way.
After looking into the information Gunner provided we were connected with Adam, who we now know is a co-founder of the company and were again pleasantly surprised by his professionalism, knowledge, and courtesy.
After a meeting with Adam where he discussed the American-made solar panels Gold Path uses, the company's commitment to building long-term customer relationships, and the potential cost savings on our electric bill, we struggled to see a downside, so we set up our site survey.
Matt conducted the survey a few weeks after our initial consultation with Adam and he was just as amazing as we had come to expect from Gold Path's employees.
We had our 17 panels installed yesterday by a team of 2 guys - Justin and Wilmer. It only took a few hours and we barely knew they were here. They were great with our dogs and thoroughly cleaned up after the install (they even borrowed my vacuum at one point when they were done with our attic access).
