Groundworks

Matt and Davin did a wonderful job. They were fast, knowledgeable, professional, timely, and curious. They lifted a large piece of cement, cleaned up the mess and were gone in less than 2 hours. Thank you groundworks.

The floor in my house was sagging due to problems with the crawlspace. I shopped around and decided to go with Groundworks, and I am so glad I did! The professionalism, communication, and service were exceptional, from the free estimate to the completion of the work. A shout-out to Tim who spent an afternoon going through everything with me to make sure I understood, a shout-out to Logan who was the project coordinator, and a super shout-out to Chris M., Dylan, Seth, and Martin who worked hard to make sure they did the best job possible! I appreciated the expertise, competence, and efficiency of the team. I highly recommend Groundworks to whoever needs help with their home.

Dylan Hicks came out to do a routine inspection of my 2 year old waterproofing job, and discovered that the foundation had shifted. He walked me through his concerns in way that I could easily understand. The whole process from diagnosis to resolving issues was transparent. Joseph led the first team in installing a basement gutter and sump pump. There was some confusion with the arrival time, but his team got right to work, blocking off the area of the basement they were working in with plastic sheeting. They used a fan to conduct dust to the outside. It was incredibly clean job considering it involved a jackhammer. Joseph and I talked about what they were going to do and then we took a tour of the finished job. The second leg of the job was to insert two piers under the foundation. At this point Groundworks really showed their true colors in working tirelessly (thank you Heather!!) with me to reschedule so they would avoid ripping up my water logged front lawn after 10 days of rain. Travis led the pier crew including Brandon, Logan, JT, and Marques. I spent a lot of time talking to this team because they weren’t behind a plastic drape. Again, they were each naturally pleasant and patient and answered all of my questions. We walked through what they were going to do and then reviewed the job after it was finished. The first part of the job they hand dug holes for the piers. Soon it was obvious that they would need an excavator. Before they left, Travis and his men covered the existing very deep holes so no pets or people could fall in, and Groundworks went out of their way to fit me in within a few days for that last leg of the project. So I don’t know how they find such skilled, helpful employees who are naturals at great customer service, but they do.

We had our crawl space repaired and sealed by Groundwork's. From our inspection and estimate to the completion of the project was great. Keith Boyd and his crew did a fabulous job. They were professional and respectful of our house while working. Keith made sure we understood what the project entailed and did not leave until all our questions were answered. I highly recommend Groundwork’s to anyone that needs crawl space or foundation work done!I give them a AAA+ rating.

I am very pleased with the work done by Jose Hinojosa and Ricardo Rodriguez. Jose kept me informed at all times of every move they made on the job. They were very courteous, friendly, and left the entire area very clean, tidy, and spotless. They did an excellent job. Please accept my sincere congratulations on having these two gentlemen as part of your company. They are a great asset.

I couldn’t be happier with the work and people at Groundworks. Greg did a terrific job checking all aspects of my house and agreed I had water in the crawl space. His crew did a wonderful job of keeping me informed what they were doing and providing photos of their progress. And everyone was so nice!
So, I would certainly recommend Groundworks for any other work , whether for myself or any of my friends and family.

The Foreman Jonathan and his crew were extremely professional, precise, and efficient!

They moved up my original install date because they acquired all the permits needed earlier than anticipated and were eager to get in here to provide me with an urgent solution for the flooding I was experiencing in my basement!

I did my due diligence and got 3 separate quotes. Christian Atkins, the Certified Field Inspector stood out the most with his knowledge, toolset and passion for helping people like me; a stressed out homeowner that had to shop vac over an inch of flooding in the basement!

I would pick Groundwork’s every time!

November 11, 2025 Update - Today Groundworks completed the second part of our project - the caulking of several control joints along our sidewalk and driveway, along with lifting a portion of the sidewalk that had dropped a few inches. Damien A. and Laz C. did a great job! The quality of the work was excellent, and Damien and Laz were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and respectful. I am extremely pleased with the work product.

Original Review - We had a great experience with Sheldon and his crew. They installed 5 piers to stabilize a portion of our foundation. The foundation is now stable, and you cannot even tell they completed the work. The project included re-pouring a portion of brushed aggregate concrete near our front door and they did an excellent job matching the existing concrete.

Finally, Sheldon and his crew were hard working, professional and courteous. I highly recommend Groundworks and Sheldon's outstanding crew.

I needed my crawl space insulated, and got an appointment fast. Tim explained the process and options I had. I really had no questions going into the project. Robbie, Aiden and Xavier were very polite and professional. Explained the work they would be doing and got to work. We did a walk through and made sure I had no questions or concerns. I am really glad I called Groundwork’s.

We had our whole house leveled and they even finished before scheduled time. We were pleased with the crew, Ian,Thomas, Will, Tyler and Charles. They were Very professional and courteous. They all worked so hard! My husband checked on them often and they always were wonderful and welcomed his questions. He was pleased with all of them. Ian the head guy way very polite and was such a gentleman when he came in the house and was even patient with my dogs. God bless him. Mitch, who came and gave the estimate was very knowledgeable and nice. He explained everything so that we understood and answered all questions. The company that did their loans, was easy and offered a plan that was perfect. We were pleased with the price and the type of leveling process. We had several quotes from other companies that offered the same type of foundation work and Groundworks were the best price. They plan to come check things later and make sure things are still good.
We rate them a good strong 9, because I don't give 10's.
