They don't even deserve a star. The promises this company has given us were not met. We felt like we were scammed. The welcome checks that are supposed to cover a year of expenses were not sent. Solar not working. It's a mess. And NO ONE IS HELPING US. It has been almost a year and we're still paying regular bills on ConEd PLUS the monthly we're paying for the solar. This kind of service and headache is not what we signed up for!!!

While the installation and process was somewhat successful, this company did not stand behind their roof warranty. About 4 years after installation, we started having numerous leaks. After sending the same “roofer” out several times along with one of their techs over a one year period, i called my own roofer. Their repairs were sub par and the leaks are still prevalent in several places. The last time I spoke to them, they said it was outside the 5 year warranty. I guess we will need to go the legal route.

Great customer service and product. Glad we worked with Group Solar to install our solar energy panels. Definitely saved money and at the same time, made strides to help the environment. Would recommend.

Stay away from Group Solar USA. If you want solar panels you should find a better way to do it.
Group Solar gives no customer service. I took a loan to pay for my panels back in 1/2018 and it is now 9/2019, I’m paying both, Con Edison and the loan. They ignore my phone calls and lie about the service. My sales rep. can’t help me because he himself left the company. My property tax was not yet filled by them, they owe me NYSERDA, and they promised to pay for all my Con Edison bills but I didn’t yet see a red cent towards it. Con Edison didn’t yet install the new meters to read the electricity produced by the solar panels because Group Solar USA didn’t take care of the paper work on their side including the “self certification”. Do not use this company.

Group Solar USA installed solar panel for my house in Feb. They applied the tax credit & everything we qualified. This summer my family enjoy the air condition with no hesitation. My kids do not even want to turn off their computers. I will recommend Group Solar USA to all my friend & customers.
