Guardian Protection

We had reliable service from Guardian for 30 years until the system started to age. Guardian wanted us to upgrade our service when it went down. It just needed a new transformer, one door sensor repair and a battery replacement. It took several calls and two tech visits to get that done. The service was down for well over a month, but they still charged us for two tech visits and two full months of service. We are now looking for another security service. We are a thirty year customer, and they treated us terribly in our view. They wouldn’t reduce the bill for that month or even give us a few dollars off for our inconvenience and trouble.

Ray is a great tech who really knows his stuff. Got everything working again in less than 10 minutes.

Extremely disappointed in the predatory business practices of Guardian Protection.
I have been a loyal customer with this company for over 20 years. When I finally called to cancel my service, I was informed that I would be charged an early cancellation fee of nearly $2,000.
It is shocking that a company would treat a twenty-year customer this way. Despite decades of on-time payments and loyalty, they are hiding behind aggressive contract renewal clauses to trap long-term users into massive payouts.
Prospective customers beware: Read the fine print carefully. They do not value loyalty; they only value the contract. I strongly recommend looking into DIY options or companies with no-contract flexibility instead. I will be sharing this experience on every platform possible to ensure others don't fall into the same trap.

My review is about Property Guardian Protection. Avoid it like a plague. I lived in one of their properties in Winchester and those 4.5 months were a horrible experience. People are rude, I mean full range rude around you and uneducated. It's basically a halfway house packed with criminals and everything that comes around with them. Lots of electricians who all have criminal records and criminal backgrounds. Do not move with them because your peace of mind will be affected.
