The home improvement expert really made this a great consultation. I went into this expecting a a 2D run down of materials and pricing.
Instead I got patience with a smile, honesty without judgement, sincerity and confidence. He answered every question, no matter who asked or how ill timed or random. He was very courteous to my entire family, even when the kids crashed the appt.
He was knowledgeable of every option available, not just the cheapest or the most high end. He asked questions about our vision for our home, even the projects that didn’t affect his sale. He walked us through every step of the process from start to finish, even pricing options and what we could do if there wasn’t a favorable outcome.
It made me feel like I wasn’t just a number in a ledger and I appreciate that. The appt lasted over 3 hours and I can thoroughly say I enjoyed the entire meeting. I’m looking forward to partnering with Hanson’s for all my needs in the future.

Roof was 30 years old and had been thinking time to replace, Especially with the snow and the rain we’ve been getting. On Facebook Hanson‘s advertisement with discount promotion on installation. Made a call and Zakara Shabazz-Lewis came out. What got me interested she came across personable, 100%+ knows Hanson And was able to answer my questions 123. Also not at all pushy. She understands this is a large huge investment for anyone, especially me and went through financing options available. Lori, their project manager, Kept me up-to-date on scheduling and follow through.
Mike, and his crew worked their butts and completed new roof. He and all the guys respectful and friendly. No concerns did I have.

I was charged $17,800 for an 1800 sq ft roof. I did choose rubberized shingles, which were more expensive than the standard asphalt. (The asphalt would have cost closer to 15.8k)
The builder that did the initial inspection claimed Hansons did not use subcontractors, which is incorrect.
Once the installation team was on site they identified that the entire roof needed to be redecked, which would require 3 times the material that the builder estimated we would need. Due to the installation happening on the weekend, the team on site had to purchase the additional osb from home depot.
I was charged $86 per board for osb that runs between $8 and $16, which tacked on an additional $2000. Altogether I was charged $20,500 for a B+ installation.
In addition, after the installation was complete, there was light coming in through the garage roof. Rather than sending someone out immediately upon seeing pictures (bear in mind for a roof with a "lifetime guarantee") I dealt with multiple days of back and forth before someone was sent out to resolve the issue.
Do not use Hansons for roofing. I have not even mentioned the interior water damage caused by the materials Hansons stored on the roof which they refused to cover.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. We had a roof replacement (with 2 feet of snow on the roof) and a full house (including sliding glass door) window replacement (also in the middle of winter) and could not have had better service. From the time a sales guy stepped in our door to the time we had to sign final inspections, every single person we encountered (from office staff to worker bees) was professional and friendly. They truly made us feel like they valued our business. I would definitely use them again!
Had shower installed. One person came early to begin and the other came shortly afterward. Very friendly. Clean up was done well. Had one issue that was quickly resolved after contacting the project manager.
Nova was fantastic, very knowledgeable and expedient. We had a last minute window emergency and Hansons worked swiftly to accommodate in this nasty Michigan February winter. The crew was also expedient and did a fantastic job. Will definitely be reaching back out to Mr. Nova with my future window replacement needs. Thanks!!
Had a very nice sales pitch from Ron. Really appreciated the roofing options offered. He was very professional and listened to our concerns. Only thing I would change is the “let me call my boss to see if I can get you a better price script” just get to your best offer without all the theatrics. Ron was a great guy and will be comparing to our other quotes
We just got our new windows last week and the experience from top to bottom has been everything that I had hoped for. They made everything very easy and communicated all through the process. The windows weren't expected until January, but were installed the weekend before Christmas. I was worried that we would lose the look of the vintage wood windows, but the cherry woodgrain color looks spectacular! The installers were an outstanding crew that knocked the job out in just a few hours. At this point, I am completely satisfied with my new windows.
I must start off first with the salesman that came and gave me a quote for the windows Ron n associate very professional on time gave me every detail showed me how the windows would look. Then there was a Alyssa who matched the competitors who price was cheaper .Then the installers Jack n associate magnificent above and beyond it was the coldest windiest day I thought they would cancel but they came and installed 7 windows did a great job installation and clean up.I'm very impressed with Hansons it's been a long time since I received good service like that. And also last thanks to Katherine checking making sure everything was okay and was I satisfied with the job done.so if you want Windows done I'd say go with Hansons. I'm beginning to do reviews because I read them and I realize other people do too it helps in deciding.again thanks
