Today a nice employee was trying to cut a piece of wood for me using their electric saw. Another employee, I presume someone above him, rudely attempted to rewove him to do something , somewhere else in the sore while I was just standing there. This is why I prefer Other hardware stores. Some of the employees can be very rude, with no business sense or clue as to why they have a job in the first place. Shameful!!

Yesterday, I submitted a review/complaint about my experience at the San Luis Obispo store. Today I received a response from the owner. I really appreciate the prompt response and the apology. It shows that management cares about it's customers. Today I went back, and the experience was very different. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I will continue to shop at Home Depot. Thank you

had almost everything that we needed. The staff was very courteous and looked for items that we could not find. They were very helpful. They had cheerfully took it an item that I was not pleased with and allowed me to exchange it with the right one. They were always courteous.

Staff won't answer the phone. Ever. To test I went into the customer service line and called. The two employees that weren't serving customers just joked about it and went back to talking about their dating history. I was supposed to get a same day delivery of in-stock item's for two days now and can't get any help or switch to pickup. Nobody wants to do their job. They had no problem taking my money, but seem to have a problem providing a service.

CONCERNING THE RENTAL TRUCKS -- FAIR WARNING -- If you care to waist a hour of your time for nothing, by all means try to rent a truck at Home Depot. The onboarding process uses CLEAR -- which is needlessly invasive, and took two tries for it to go through, and in spite of the fact I had insurance and a policy number, they wouldn't accept it. I easily rent 10 or more vehicles in a year and that's never ever been an issue. It's likely a ploy to sell insurance coverage. Also I found out the late fees are extraordinarily high, especially considering you'll likely stand in a long customer service line to return it. Gladly I decided to give up and go to U-Haul instead over on Prado. I walked up with no reservation and was in the vehicle on my way in under 10 minutes. Taxes, fees, mileage and a small topping of fuel, I was out maybe $50 and that's probably less than what I would have ended up owing at Depot. Seems like a good idea until you get into it. Depot just isn't really set up to make this efficient. They should get rid of it.

California Home Depot’s hit different. Had everything we needed, very courteous employees, and smooth checkout. Even returning unused material for a job went quick and easy. Plus, they have a very delightful selection of pack out gear.

It's what you'd expect HD to be. It's really disappointing that they don't carry dishwashers in stock (possibly other appliances too). If you're needing a dishwasher that day, then go somewhere else. They require delivery of them and you'll have to wait for it to come from their Fresno distribution center.

Sunday afternoon, I went to home depot for a hair catcher for my bathtub and a scrap piece of wood to patch a hole in my storage shed. First an employee helped me find a great hair catcher that he had at home for the same long hair problem. Second, I went to the lumber area and was helped by Mike who found a scrap piece of wood that he then cut down to the exact size that I needed. Little did I know that he was the supervisor and his customer service was a great example for his employees. I am from the bay area and you never get help much less the great customer service that I received on Sunday. Thank you for making my search easier and for getting the right stuff.

Tried calling ahead twice to see if a tool was available without a 40 minute drive, but the phone AI system just gave me the around. Both times I called it was asking for the sku #.

do not buy the flooring and installation through them. the least helpful people at this store and no one has any sense of urgency. i’ve called several times for my order status and two different people have told me that it’s arrived, but they’re not sure about when to schedule delivery, then I call the next day and they say it’s not there and they have no idea where it is and when it’s going to be there. They often say that they’ll call me and they never do; that that’s happened at least four times. Paid 15k for this job and it’s been nothing but a headache for me. Bummer
