Johnathon Howard was great to work with. He has the misfortune of coming out to quote our job after we had a very unpleasant salesman from a competing company. But after a great presentation he sold us on a great product. Would definitely recommend. After month of having the gutters we had a heavy rain fall, I noticed on one gutter the rain was coming behind it. I texted him and he said that he’ll have someone come out… no one did. And couple more months later we tried refinancing our house and the lender told us that there was a lean on our house, we didn’t know what he was talking about so he informed us that it was the gutter company. When we applied for the loan he didn’t mention any of that, nor did he say that they will put a lean on your house.

I had Homecraft install gutter guards on my home. I had an initial problem that they responded to quickly and came out and resolved. I started to have an issue with one small part of the gutter guard where it lifted and was pointing almost straight up. I filed a claim online 2 separate times with no response. I called and left 2 separate voicemails, no response. I left a Google review and received a call nearly immediately. The lady I spoke with said they had never received my calls or claims. She said I was out of my warranty, which I agreed with, however contract states with a service fee they will service the guards. After being yelled at my the service lady and also getting heated in my response, she threatened to hang up on me. The entire time she was arguing the contract even though I was reading it to her verbatim. I also was stressing that I was more than willing to pay the service charge I just needed someone to come and fix the guard. She said they no longer serviced knoxville and did not have anyone local to come, she would call someone in Chattanooga to see if they could send someone. We ended the call, and she called back within a few min to tell me they could, quoted me the cost, I agreed and said I would get a call from their manager to schedule. This was months ago at this point and have had no contact. I actually do not wish to do business with this company, I have since hired my own person to fix their gutter guard. However people who are interested need to understand that there are some core issues with this company. The product seems to be good where it is installed properly. However if they end up moving on from your location it will be near to impossible if not impossible to get them to send someone to fix the gutter guards. I imagine the actual warranty people would probably be responsive as that is a different entity but that is more for failure and not service issues. Please do your research, ask all the questions if you are considering this company. I initially had amazing service, but the customer service following install has been extremely poor.

At first, I was very impressed with Jonathan Howard in sales and l placed trust in him. After installation, he didn’t help with problems.

At my house, heavy rain water frequently overflows the guards and onto the ground ruining landscaping, creating dirty messy walk and porch.

The special raised screen technology is supposed to allow water to flow beneath leaves/debris into the gutters. This doesn’t work, especially when we get a little more rain than usual.

Jeremy Hunter did send a tech who downsized a splashguard which did not help.

Jeremy proposed a solution that, at my expense, which would be attached to roof in various places above gutters. What? Nail stuff on my roof to fix his created problems?

He said he had another option to correct the problems, had to talk to his manager and would call me back. Didn’t call.

He never calls back.

At one juncture he told me that oil on the screens caused drip over.

At another point, he told me the heavy overflow was caused by debris accumulating and this not covered by warranty. He said sending a tech to remove debris would be at my expense.

I am 76 years old and purchased so I wouldn’t have to climb a ladder, yet their product creates a situation where ladder climbing is still necessary.

Multiple emails, videos, phone calls have been useless.

If there is anybody else at Homecraft who can help I would welcome that.

Within one day of making an inquiry Andrew showed up to give us an estimate. He was very professional, friendly and provided us with good information about the system they use compared to other vendors. After the sales pitch and information about the company and warranty, he provided the estimate. It was significantly less than a major competitor.
Within a few days (Weather dependent) Jaden arrived to complete the install. Jaden was hard working and told me everything he was doing. He completed the install within a few hours and showed me the before/after photos of his work.
Although you really can't see it from the ground, we have huge peace of mind knowing our gutters are free from leaves and debris and should have one less thing to worry about.
The warranty adds another layer of that piece of mind also!

Scott came out to give us a free estimate on gutter guards and he was very professional with great customer service. He explained and demonstrated their product fully and was able to get us a reasonable price for our budget. I would definitely recommend home craft to my family and friends
