Home Improvements USA installed my Gutter clCap a couple years ago. In the fall of 2025 I had them back to install the Heater Cap. This winter I have had no ice dams, no large icicle build-up. Very happy with the results.

The whole team is professional and easy to work with. I would recommend them for sure.

We interviewed a few companies to get a metal roof installed and after weighing the differences, there was no question on who we were going with. Home Improvements USA was exceptional to work with. We had terrible contractor experiences in the past and were so worried it was going to happen, but our experience with them was far from our previous ones. From the start, everyone was friendly, punctual and professional. Whenever I had questions regarding the work, no one hesitated to answer them. They never made me feel like my questions were bothersome. The install went great. The crew was on time each day and they were very efficient. The job took the amount of time they said it would and they even worked through a very cold day. The people in the office were all very helpful and informative with the process and all the info I needed. They always took my call or called me back the moment they could. I am so happy we went with this company and I will recommend them to anyone who is looking to get a project done. They are at the top of my list for future projects. Thanks to the whole team, you all are aces in my book.

Getting my project, gutters & downspouts, was seamless from beginning to end. Great customer service with courteous and respectful contact, including the installer.

HONEST REVIEW. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. First time using Home Improvements USA. Was connected with them through Angi's List. Their sales rep John Broich was very good on the first visit. Sane when he came out for the second visit and this is when I decided to move forward with this company. I liked their roof shingle product they offered (brand of shingle is Malarkey) and thought it was very innovative. Even though John told me they would be 6-8 weeks out from starting the roof replacement project, they actually started within about 4 weeks. This is when the problems started. I received a phone call on a Friday morning from their main office advising me they would like to come out the next Monday to start AND complete the project within the same day. Their sales rep also advised me this should only take 1 day. I thought this was a bit of short notice but considering I did not need to be home, I told them this was ok. Their office rep also told me that he was surprised that someone did not call me sooner to confirm the start date and should have done this. When the next Monday came around, I then received a call confirming the workers were on their way and should arrive in about 1 hour. I then received another call about 30-60 minutes later telling me their truck broke down and they would have to reschedule. I told them I was already not liking this back and forth but if they needed to reschedule then fine, since again, I did not need to be home. About an hour later, I received another phone call saying that they got another truck and would still make it out today. I told them to only come out if they could still get the roof done in 1 day since a couple of hours had now been lost at this point. They insisted on still coming out that day. They arrived and got to work. When their sales rep first came out, I asked about a couple of extra things I wanted to have done and their Sales rep said it would be no problem at all. When their office rep called the Friday before I asked him to confirm the requested extras were known about and on the work order. He seem to have no idea what I was talking and even said those are things that they don't normally do. This is now the 2nd time of miscommunication, first time being the scheduling issue. He said he would talk with the sale rep and the owner of the company and get this straightened out. When the work was being done, I came home at lunch to check on the progress. To my surprise the owner of the company was there watching over everything. I then asked the owner for an update on the progress. While we were talking he made no mention of the few extra things I requested. Again, I advised him what their sales rep agreed to but, this tells me that their office rep did not communicate properly with the owner about the extra requests. The owner guaranteed me that the extra requests would be included and taken care of. At the end of the day, they did finish the roof replacement but they did do any of the extra requests. I contacted back to the owner and he advised that the foreman on the job had an emergency and had to leave early. When the last worker was wrapping up for the day, he told me someone would be by within 1 hour to pickup the trailer they parked in the driveway that they collected all of the debris and garbage in so it would not be in the driveway overnight. No one came to pick it up that night. That was miscommunication #3.

I can not recommend this company due to multiple times of miscommunication. The overall pricing was also seemingly good at first but not worth it after all of the troubles, miscommunications, and cleanup I had to do. But, I would recommend the shingle product itself. I'm sure there are other companies that install the Malarkey shingle product. I have attached pictures of this project. I'm giving 2 out of 5 stars which equals a D. A passing grade sure but, not a good grade.
