Please don't utilize this company. They talk a good game but they pressure sell and try to intimidate you when you question them. They nearly wanted to charge me double to receive a higher rebate.

I've had Ion Solar for a while now and im most likely gonna get rid of it. Ots constantly going out almost every month. I pay hundreds of dollars to PNM and the $84 for the solar panels. Everytime it goes out i have to pay $250 for them to come out and say everything is good and should be working only for a few weeks later it goes put again. I have waisted so much money when I'm supposed to be saving money. I pay at least $200+ a month yo PNM. Why am I paying so much if i have solar? Everytime i call and address this issue they just send someone out for the proce of $250 and nothing happens. It works for maybe a week and then it's put again.

Solar array stopped working and it took me three weeks to get a service appointment. ION makes you pay (in my case $250) before they even go out to the house. I like the idea of solar, but have not enjoyed the experience and price of ION.

A very nice guy came to our door to pitch switching to solar. He said they would return and go over a report specific to us so we could see the impact of changing. I was agreeable to that.
However, I then researched the company and read MANY very negative reviews...so when he contacted me later I told him we were not interested in switching but thanks. I then blocked his number.
Later on, someone different texted me and I was more pointed, asking them to cross me off the list and not contact me again. I then blocked that number.
After some weeks, yet another person contacted me, this time from Minneapolis. Since they disregarded my request before, I didn't waste my time repeating it and simply blocked their number, too.
Weeks later, someone else came to our door. She was very nice but I told her we were not interested in changing anything and no, we did not need to see the report.
That makes four follow-up contacts, the last three of which were after I told them we were not interested and the final two of which were after I explicitly asked them not to contact me again. I now consider this harrassment, and I will file with the FTC and BBB if I hear from them again.

DO NOT CONSIDER THIS COMPANY this has been the worst experience I have ever dealt with on a big purchase . This solar project costed me 30k , Upon install they damaged over 30 tiles on my concrete tile roof, with NO integrity they tried hiding it. ( If you have received ion solar please check their work they are not honest about it) after seen how they left my roof I checked the wiring in the attic, it’s damaged as well ( picture attached) I am having to hold them accountable every Single week and every time I talk to corporate or the operations manager to fix what they caused and they still haven’t ,They even tried putting old unmatched tiles as a bandaid fix and are are giving me a hard time on replacing the wire ,this is unacceptable and this company should not be in business. If they do not fix it correctly within a timely manner I will have be involving the courts.

When I agreed to meet with Ion Solar representative Robert Abeyta, I had no intent to purchase anytime soon and prepared for a pushy sales person. To my surprise Robert was very personable, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had and provide any additional information needed. Robert spent close to three hours with me to which I admit had flown by and at the end had a signed contract and a new customer.
In no time at all Ion Solar sent out people to draw up the design for my home and inspect that it would work correctly. After signing off on the design Ion Solar began the process of getting all the approvals and licenses needed to install and run the system. Before I knew it the install team was at my residence and getting the job done. The install took about four hours and looked perfect after they finished. The solar panels were all laid flush and the equipment all matched so there wasn't anything to really draw the eye to the roof. No wires were left showing and everything was tidy and sealed properly. The crew cleaned the area to leave it better than they found it and vacuumed the area were they made access into the attic.
I downloaded the recommended app on my phone and was able to track everything going on during the process along with track my solar system after the installation. Anytime I called I was given prompt answers and Ion Solar kept me up to date on everything going on.
