Shawn, representing K Design, did a fantastic job in explaining their window products and installation process. Shawn had samples of their windows to show how and why they work so well. I highly recommend K Design.
For the installation of the windows I was notified about a week and a half of the installation date. Val followed up with a four days in advance and told me his approximate time of arrival. When Val arrived he was very kind and explained the process of taking out the old windows and putting in the new ones. Val is a very efficient worker and it was apparent that he was done this type of work many times. The job site was made safe yet efficient. After the installations of both windows was completed, Val showed how the windows can be opened, closed and removed. He pointed out that the window in the tan room had developed a problem with its J Stop that likely occurred during storage. He showed that if.that window is kept closed for an extended period of time, that defect should correct itself. He added that if it does not correct itself, K Designs would replace the window. Another instruction added by Val was that because the caulking applied around the outside edges of the windows will need a few days to dry, that area should be kept relatively clean, including not mowing the lawn. Finally, Val had me sign and date a number of documents. I was VERY satisfied and impressed with Val’s work!

My experience with K-Designers has been wonderful from start to finish, and it was all accomplished in less than a month! Every single person I’ve interacted with has been polite and friendly. From the initial phone call, to Noah who brought samples to my house, explained how the features of their windows worked to make them last longer, and be easier to clean and maintain, went through all my options with me, walked me through the paperwork, figured out what financing options worked within my budget, and made friends with my cat. The whole installation of 7 windows was finished within 2 days and the two installers did an incredible job. I was also very impressed with how respectful they were of my home and how well they cleaned up before they left. My floors inside and ground outside might even be cleaner than when they arrived. I know one of my really old panes of glass broke upon removing it, but every single piece was picked up. My windows are now gorgeous, draft-free, energy efficient, and I can’t wait to show them off to friends and family.

Update: had 6 windows replaced. The installers were friendly, efficient and professional. They even installed carbon monoxide detectors in several areas of the house. Overall, very good job done by installers and vacuumed areas where work was done. I love the look of the new windows. Posted is our new bay living room window that was replaced. Wish i had taken a before picture. Also had our 2 bedroom and our bathroom windows replaced. Highly recommend.

I can't lie; it did take three months to install the window after we signed the paperwork with K-Design. However, once it arrived, a single worker came and worked for 2 1/2 days. He was incredibly efficient and friendly. He said he worked under K-Design for a long time and he did such an excellent job that I have no complaints. He made me forget all about the long wait.I recommend to work with a guy name Dan and he would not leave you with any regrets behind:) he deserves a well pad on his shoulder:)

I would highly recommend K-Designers for any job you might have.
They installed a very big three pane window in our brick house. It was quite a task for the installer. He was very professional and cheerful and with his knowledge and skill the task was finished in a very timely manner. On completion the work area was spotless inside and out. We have noticed an improvement with noise reduction and our heat bill. Give them a call!
