We were going to use hansons to do our walk in shower and leafs sales associate crystal Arthur sold us on how much better their company was. It was a lie. She told us that if they break something or have any water damage that they would repair any damages that occur by their installation tech. That was also a lie. Not only was the installer over 2 hours late, he also left a huge trailer of acrylic shavings through out my house. He also FLOODED my bathroom causing water damage to my living room ceiling. He was emptying our well tank, turned on the water and walked away. She proceeded to tell us that we had to deal with the installation manager Adam out of the Detroit office. We made several attempts to get in contact with Adam with no response and now we are seeking legal counsel to get these repairs paid for. If they are this poor at repairing water damage that they caused I can only imagine the nightmare you would have to go through to get warranty work done. My advice is to STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and seek your business elsewhere.

The sales person used very high pressure tactics to sell this product.
Was very rehearsed and robot like. Was not personable at all.
I was not impressed with the sales person putting down his competitors.
I felt he was just at our house to sell the lift.
The impression I did get from this person was poor customer relations and immediately was turned off by his sales pitch. I didn't like the idea of him assuming we would by from this company. When he was told we had other companies we were meeting with for several other estimates. The sales person did get a little testy. The meeting was ended when we ask him to leave,
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Great experience from start to finish! The sales and installation teams were knowledgeable and efficient, and they gave us clear instructions for use and upkeep. We’re very happy with it!

we had a stair chair installed which was not an easy install for the fact it has two landings and a corner turn ...... it presented problems which they fixed promptly , and now my wife who is disabled now has independence back and we couldn't be happier about that ...... thank you to the installers and the customer service for taking care of our needs

The installation of the stair lift was good, but a month later it quit working after it was accidentally unplugged. My 90 year old dad called hq who said they would let the manager/scheduler know so they could get someone out here to fix it. We got no response that entire week. The following week (Sept 29) I called hq and was told that since we unplugged it, the warranty would not cover the new battery we needed. We would need to pay for that, but they'd try to get us a special deal. The next day I called hq back to say, "That makes no sense; power outages happen here all the time. It was only unplugged for at most 3 days, on a 1-month old chair." Hq said they would have the manager/scheduler call us. I've been calling every day from Sept 29th until October 6th - hq, the manager/scheduler, the installer - and I've been told the same thing every time - "That sounds frustrating. We'll let the manager/scheduler know." My dad has balance issues and is struggling to go up and down the stairs every day, so yeah it's frustrating to pay $7,360 for the stair lift and it be unusable.
The day after writing the above, my brother called insistently and talked with the scheduler/manager, who said that if the lift is without power for 48 hours while the toggle button is in the on position, it will kill the battery, and that the battery isn't covered by the warranty. Also we learned that we'll need to replace the battery every 1- 2 years anyway. Finally we were told that a new battery costs $20 to $30. For the past 2 1/2 weeks I had assumed a new battery would be more in the $300-$500 range, like ebike batteries. I wish it hadn't taken over 2 weeks of trying to communicate with Leaf to figure this out. Seems to me this battery drain situation, is a lousy design, esp if you have housemates, family, neighbors, children, friends, or anyone who might be in your house needing to use an outlet.

We compared Leaf Home to Bruno and Acorn. Leaf Home is more expensive, but the components seem to be better constructed, the lifetime warranty is better than Acorn (1 year), and there is no requirement to pay for an annual maintenance plan (Acorn and Bruno). Our lift was installed the same week we ordered it and it works great.

Fast paced high pressure sales
Tried to charge $9,000.00 for a straight stairlift
Way overpriced
The rep got nasty once I told him that my mom needed time to think and get other estimates . He ended the appointment .
The other weird thing was the reps shirt and vehicle said Leaf Filter ???
He told me Leaf filter owned the stairlift company Harmar???
That wasn’t true
Very weird that a gutter company selling medical equipment .
At least train the sales reps correctly .
