Your system is flooding my basement leaking everywhere

Your installation was so incompetent it’s now flooding my basement.

We will have another plumber come out to fix it as clearly you all are incompetent now with the three visits.

As we said we are waiting for the entirely new replaced system to be installed and verified before paying you a dime.

We will take no response as you forfeiting any claim to a payment from us for providing a broken system that has never worked.

Now a new part of the system is leaking so bad it’s filling this bucket every 8 hours!

I purchased a LeafFilter Home Water Solutions water softener on 12/7/24, and it has already failed twice due to clogging. This is unacceptable.
My previous water softener worked for 10 years without a single issue, having repeated breakdowns within months, is beyond frustrating. A brand-new, premium-priced system should not clog repeatedly, especially when the old system on the same water supply never did.
If you are considering this system, be aware that reliability has been a serious issue for me. I deeply regret this purchase.

We scheduled a tech to come out because the water started to smell again really badly. They said they couldn’t get anyone out until our 1 year mark. We asked if they could put in an escalation due to it smelling awful. That never happened so we ended up having to wait another month for someone to come out. The original technician who was set to come never showed up so they had to schedule another, they didn’t show up either finally a third showed up over a week later. The guy tells us nothing is wrong we just need to add more salt. We added more salt and it still smells and the iron is turning all our showers and toilets yellow again. I have also asked for a supervisor 3 times to call me and still no call has been made. They also wanted to charge us over $100 for the service call but why should we pay anything when the problem isn’t fixed and it took three try’s to get someone to actually show up! Terrible customer service. Wish we went with a different company!

Update: 4th attempt at getting a supervisor. Again, another agent tells me they have no way to contact a supervisor directly and that a ticket has to be put in but once they do then a supervisor should reach out before end of business day. Still yet again, no call back from a supervisor. All calls go unanswered. Water still stinks and is staining my showers, appliances and my small child and family have to bathe in this. Even after this review all we get is the same automated message on Google with no resolution.
All good reviews are about installation but once it’s installed and something goes wrong, don’t expect a call back.

One of the home improvement projects I've had on my radar was a water softener/filtration system. I live in an area with very hard water and I had looked at self-installation options. I did have a previous experience with Leaf (gutters) and decided to have them test and go over my options. I do not regret that decision, and in both cases I feel that I received expert service from consultation through installation. Everything is customized to accommodate not only the water issues, but also home needs and usage. The installation itself went beyond expectations, and Mike was very knowledgeable, detailed yet quick. The area we needed to install was pretty small and he factored that in to preserve as much space as possible. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend.
