My experience started with a friendly person at Lowe’s who stopped me to talk about gutter guards. I gave them my information after they told me that a sales guy would come by and give me a quote that would be good for a year. My sales guy came by and was great but their sales pitch was very much built on FOMO and a false sense of urgency. That 1-year price was so absurdly inflated it was basically “screw you” pricing designed for the sole purpose of giving me a heavy discount down to a still-high price due to some special they were “miraculously” running just for my zip code that day…so long as I got the job installed within 10 days.
I was impressed by the product so I went forward with the deal. They didn’t require any payment until the project was done, anyway.
They scheduled me for a Friday. Then when the day came, they called to reschedule due to weather.
It was sunny.
The next scheduled date came. They called to reschedule saying that their crew wasn’t available that day and rescheduled me for the next week.
On that day, they no call/no showed on me.
I called the office and got a gatekeeper who didn’t know anything but sent a message to the office assuring me someone would call.
They didn’t. I called again. Gatekeeper again. Assurances again. No call again.
I finally tracked down my sales guy who got his boss to call me. We spoke for a while, told me they were having staffing issues. At least he told me the truth.
We scheduled for that Friday.
Another no call/no show.
Finally, the next week, they installed my project. The crew wasn’t great and the product is great, so I can’t give them 1 star.
But basically, no communication or answers until I became a relentless heartless jerk. No way to contact them. Everything is set up to serve themselves, but not their customer.
Maybe they were just having temporary issues. I hope so for the sake of my neighbors but regardless, their internal processes made it impossible to get an answer if they didn’t want to talk to me.
Absolutely maddening.

We had a very positive experience from the estimating through installation. Our installer, Nathaniel Roth went above and beyond what I would expected from any contractor.
First, it rained most of the day. We were surprised he didn't reschedule. When he showed up I asked him to start with the 2nd floor top gutter, he asked why. Because on Monday in a torrential downpour a hole was opened in an upstairs bedroom and it was gushing water. He asked if we could check it out in the attic. We spent a half-hour investigating and he gave me a contact person that might be able to help.
Then while installing the 2nd floor gutter on the back of the house he noticed a blocked gutter while installing a downspout to the first floor additions gutter. He asked if I want it cleaned out, "because I'm already up here". I tossed him a hose and he cleared the downspout and flushed out the gutter. Leaf Filter wasn't even hired to do the 1st floor gutters. Many thanks to you Nathaniel, what a great person and installer.
On top of that, I made an inspection request online Monday night. Their inspector was at the house Tuesday, she gave us an estimate and we set the appointment for the following day, Wednesday. That was so important to my wife, she was freaking out about the hole in the spare bedroom.
Thanks to Leaf Filter, you have a 1st class operation.

A representative was in the neighborhood and came to our house to ask if we were interested in a quote. We said yes thinking we probably wouldn't go though with a purchase. Rose, from the Pembroke, NH office, came out shortly after that and gave a detailed estimate. Rose was great to deal with, professional and very friendly. I purchased my Leaf Filter System a few years ago and it has never performed as claimed. The pine (Spruce) needles lay on top of the gutters covered with Leaf Filter and the water just runs over despite me blowing off my roof several times each year. What they don’t tell you (a small notice in the documentation) is that after one year they charge you $95 to check out a warranty claim. They claim they have an “improved” system which they would sell you (average $6500). I asked to see the “improved” system so they said they would set up an appointment - three so far without showing!

I had Leaffilter install gutters on my home, after the installation I noticed that the water run-off was overshotting the gutters completely. I called Leaffilter and they inspected the gutters; the inspection confirmed that the gutters were installed too low on the eaves of my house to catch any water after the installation of my metal roof. This was also confirmed by my roofing contractor and an independent home inspector. The Leaffilter Installation manager told me that I have to pay them $1344.06 to raise the gutters. This is supposed to be covered under the 1-year workmanship warranty. I shouldn't have to pay Leaffilter extra on top of what I already paid to fix the gutters that they installed too low on my house for the gutters to be effective. I told the sales person during the sales consultation before the installation that I was also having a metal roof installed on my home. He told me that the metal roof would make the Leaffilter gutters more effective with the increased speed of water run-off rinsing off debris. The Leaffilter Installation Manager, didn't respond to my calls, texts or emails for a month and is now refusing to honor the 1-year workmanship warranty and correct the ineffective gutters installation. This is unacceptable customer service, deceptive business practice, false advertising and likely a breach of contract. I am now considering legal actions if Leaffilter continues to refuse to honor the warranty that they sold to me.
