I had a great experience seeing the Long Fence crew at work near the Freedom 250 event in Washington DC. They were setting up and taking down security fencing in extremely hot and humid conditions, and every interaction I had with them was professional and friendly. One of the younger crew members even took a moment out of his work to help answer a question I had, which really stuck with me. It says a lot about a company when their crew treats a random passerby with that kind of courtesy while working such a physically demanding job in brutal heat.
I also want to give real credit to Long Fence for employing younger workers in a skilled trade like this. Not everyone needs a four year degree to have a solid career, and companies that give young people a chance to learn a trade and earn a living doing real physical work deserve a lot more recognition than they usually get. Five stars, both for the quality of the work and for the people doing it.

Overall really great workmanship by talented and friendly staff to include carpentry, welding, and cement construction. The only negative was it took +4 months in part due to the January 2026 snowstorm and a special order articulated gate.

Long Fence installers just put in a beautiful new railing/fence along our frontstairs to the front porch. The old fence was 30 years old and wobbly. The 2 person team arrived early and worked hard all day and left the area spotless. They removed the old fence and even hosed down the entire area. We are so pleased! We want to compliment the sales rep (George Hope), the Estimator, the finance person (Cornina) and the Residential Sales Manager (Vicky Williams) and last but not least, our two excellent installers (my apologies for not getting their names). They were all personable, efficient, and kept us informed at each stage. We highly recommend this company. Thank you.

Great job. I expected them to be the most expensive, but they were not. They met my timeliness for a small repair. Hands down, of 5 contractors I spoke with, they were the most knowledgeable and went the extra mile to get the parts of a vendor that got bought out. Save yourself the headache, and call these guys first.
