This company is out of business. If you have been the victim of any wrongdoing from New Horizon Home Improvement, look up AskGer dot com. There's information to help homeowners select a trustworthy contractor and avoid being taken advantage of by contractors like this. They also have been helping out homeowners in situations where their deposits are taken and stuck with a loan for work not done. Recently a woman from Springfield was able to get her loan (taken out by New Horizon for $10,029) forgiven with AskGer dot com's help. Attached is a photo of their office location (2400 Boston Rd #3, Wilbraham MA) that is currently for lease.

A year ago they installed 2 new skylights an reroofed the roof surface on which the skylights are located. We had to call them back 4 times because the skylights were leaking. Finally, they seemed to be fixed. Fast forward 1 year. Suddenly the leaks are back. Upon close inspection by another roofer, there is no flashing around the skylights...only caulking, which has broken. The company does not answer our phone calls, and when we tried going there, the doors were locked. Additionally, the roofer who looked at the windows for us informed us that the particular skylights they sold us are actually meant to be in a southern climate.

i used New Horizon to replace a large patio door. The door they installed kept leaning on top which make it very difficult to close. I tried calling them several times. They promised to show up but nobody does. This is a corrupt business that do not own and resolve their issues. They kept saying that the door is under warranty for 5 years but what use is the warranty if nobody shows up to address the issue. Beware!!
Update 7/19/2023: I had some folks shows to remeasure the door and promise to replace the door but I have not seen any further follow up. I stand by my review.

Basement window replacement last year went nothing like we were told it would. Communication was poor, craftsmanship was mediocre, and overall experience was disappointing. Although the original estimate by Chris and Bruce was excellent, after I signed and paid, it was a completely different story. Lesson learned.

We got majority of our windows done and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The only complaint I have is that we have found a ton of nails from the old windows around the house and in the driveway, we have animals and children and that is super unsafe. Other than the nails New Horizon is as great at communicating for the most part and everyone that we worked with were very professional and always there to answer our questions. Chris in sales was very professional but also didn’t treat us like we were just some customer and trying to get a sale for himself, he was in no way pushy, just humble and great to work with. We also worked with Jessie and Jeff the project managers and they always got back to us if we had questions. Even the phone operators were such a pleasure to work and speak with, they really have a great staff that works at this establishment and we are so happy that we found them. We will definitely be using New Horizon for other projects in the future.

I had my roof replaced. It seems to be holding up well. The sales guy was good. My review would be higher except for two things. I have finally stopped finding roofing nails all over my property over a year later, and they never finished covering my fascia on my house. When they removed my old drip edge it exposed a gap, and some bare wood. They sent some one over to fix it, and he only partially fixed the problem. My fascia looks like a patchwork quilt.

They came on time as promised and set to work. One small hiccup at first on the order, but it was quickly fixed, and the job was professionally completed. To date, one year and nine months later it is standing up fine with no issues. They were able to complete the whole job of removing the old roof, replacing some worn boards and the reroofing the whole roof in one day. They then did a great job of cleaning any mess created by the job.
The workers were polite and addressed any issues or questions that I had asked making me feel like a respected customer!

New Horizon Home Improvement was wonderful. They were incredibly responsive. And they had the only representative who didn't talk to us like we were idiots. They installed 26+ windows, including a very large picture window, plus 2 sliding doors. They also rebuilt our greenhouse. They were exceptionally quick and they have someone who is actually *at* the office, answering emails and phone calls. I cannot speak highly enough of their work.

New Horizon's team did an excellent job. The price was reasonable, given the current shortages. The crew worked hard and fast and did an excellent job. The wait time to get the job done was reasonable as well. They also did a great job installing new gutters. My only (minor) complaint was that the job site was not very well cleaned up. I found over a dozen nails on my driveway over the next few weeks, all obviously from the job. There were water bottles left in the bushes and garden, and in the lawn I found a strip from a nail gun with half a dozen nails still in it that could've caused injury to a pet or kid. I don't mind cleaning that sort of thing up myself, but it wasn't what I'd been told to expect. All in all the team did fantastic work and I'd definitely hire them again.
