Just filed bankruptcy. Owners now living the high life in Bend Oregon while laying off all their employees 4 days before Christmas. Applications monitoring solar systems now off line so if you’re having a problem you probably won’t even notice until your power bills start going up. Service warranties now void so have fun fixing any problems.

Don't sign the contract without having a thorough review of the KW! I recommend reviewing with a HVAC specialist and/or your attorney.
The Purelight Power representative, James, rated my home at about 6,500 KW annually and I believed him. I didn't know how to read my bill, more so didn't ever bother with knowing the technicalities. Turns out he rated my home at half the amount, because I spend a lot, close to 13,000 KW annually. I learned this too late.
I have been trying to mediate and/or arbitrate for the past 1 year and a half, and Pure light Power has been horrible with me and my attorney (my attorney was David Schieber from Ashland, OR). They denied any mediation and said that because I signed the contract, they will not correct their error. I was willing to go 50% off, but due to their horrendous customer service towards me, I told them I wanted it taken off and returned.
I'm now going to the FTC and reporting them for lying to me and making me sign a contract that they created with wrong information. (FTC.gov/complaint)
Now I'm stuck paying them or a loan they offered me for the next 20 years, and I'm still not getting that much of a benefit from the solar panels.

Started out ok but assessment was problematic and after we had our assessment finally done they canceled our agreement with no formal explanation. Sent a text saying our roof wasn't strong enough which is not true since multiple houses in our neighborhood have same builder and roof. We attempted to reach out for an actual conversation and no one would return our calls to discuss in more detail. We believe they possibly under bid our proposal and didn't want to continue. Be cautious with this company. We are now going with another company that is local and very professional and responsive to us.

So professional from beginning to end. Great communication. We knew what was going on with our project all along the way from setup and engineering, permitting and paperwork, install, and finally post-install follow up. They had to do some work on our electrical panels and afterward got all of the drywall and paint fully fixed quickly. Very impressed with their speed, professionalism, and customer service.

I really appreciate the education that pure light has given. And Gar is the best at explaining everything so it was understandable and he’s a very positive person. This was a great experience. Thank you.

The service representative Anika R. assisted me, with a business transaction involving a property transfer. Anika did an amazing job. Friendly, professional and helpful. Purelight is lucky to have an employee like Anika. Also, I truly appreciated the hold music too! Hilarious, smart move on leadership for making the hold time experience fun. Thank you, Douglas

From start to finish, we’re overall very happy with Purelight Power! The whole process was smooth and easy. Just be prepared for a little bit of “hurry up and wait” — not because of Purelight, but simply due to the time it takes for the town to handle permits and for other companies to complete their parts of the process. Every employee we worked with was knowledgeable, kind, and never pushy. Purelight made going solar stress-free. 10/10 recommend!

Best service, very smooth install process, very efficient and highly recommend them for your solar needs. Gar Codling was very proficient and did a great work explaining me the monitoring system operation and install.

Don’t trust them when they say your bill will be net zero or close too. Power bill is still 200+ in the middle of summer. Guy pitching his business to us assured us even in winter our bill would be almost nothing to pacific power. They also put panels where there was obvious shade when there was plenty of roof in full sun. So not only misleading but also apparently incompetent.

Buyer beware: A few weeks after install a storm knocked power out to the neighborhood and my new, 100% charged backup batteries did not kick in nor did the panels provide power to the house the following sunny day. Lots of money and no power. Hard to get in touch with customer service and their next available appointment to come check out the system is almost a month out. Not to mention I received a power bill so I do not believe the system is powering my house at all at this point. AND they promised a 6k incentive a week after installation, that never happened and they said they are working out the kinks with the power company on that issue.
