Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning - San Antonio

I have used Radiant Plumbing for multiple services including AC Installation. I always have a good experience with them, but today was exceptional. Wayne, on both recent visits to my home, was able to explain an issue that no other plumber could in the past five years (a foul smell). I was prepared to pay for a pricey test (smoke test) but Wayne in his honesty and expertise explained the issue, and saved me the money. The part I need costs $2. I'm thankful for his professionalism, and I believe he is the type of professional you would want to show up at your house.

Ruben Garcia just left… Wow, he was amazing! He obviously had the technical skill set to know what he was doing, but also had great interpersonal skills. He was very thorough and professional, friendly and accessible. He didn’t mind questions, and welcomed me to look over his shoulder throughout his service call.

Update: I was so assured by the quality of service I experienced with Ruben, that I continued with other items that needed attention. As a result, I've had a series of other technicians out to address a range of issues, including plumbing as well as HVAC. Billy Reaves, Garret Deidloff, Jr. (sorry, I didn't catch your family name), Aaron Taylor. Each and every one was great to have in our home, and to learn from (I now am much better equipped to play my part as an informed homeowner).

I also don't want to fail to mention the same level of service I received over the phone (even at all hours when our HVAC shut down on a weekend). Unfortunately, I could find only one name jotted down in my notes: Megan. But they all deserve kudos for their care for us through a stressful weekend, as well as the more "routine" issues.

Also, I highly recommend the maintenance membership, it is well worth it!

We bought our place in SA last summer and knew that the 20-year old AC was on its last legs, so when Radiant offered a basically free maintenance/inspection we took advantage of the opportunity. The very polite tech (whose name I unfortunately did not write down) revealed numerous issues - with pictures and full explanations. One of the small details - a quarter of the house had no attic insulation (thank you for missing that, home inspector). After reviewing repair options and with full consideration of the upcoming summer season and the age of the unit, we opted to have a complete replacement of the HVAC, along with adding insulation where it was lacking. Ryan and Travis showed up the next day and quickly and efficiently took out the old system and replaced it with a modern Carrier unit that is about twice as efficient as what was there before. Not only were they polite, friendly, professional, and willing to answer questions, but the quality of their work was exceptional. They returned a day or two later to complete the job, cleaning the air ducts and blowing in the insulation. The cleanup of the work site was immaculate.

The new unit is markedly quieter, cools better and more rapidly, uses much less electricity, and my wife and I have already noticed a difference thanks to the better filtration and removal of biologics that had probably been in the ducts for decades.

We are very happy with the work done by Radiant and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

New construction and builder’s plumber couldn’t get the new tub drain to hold water. I called RADIANT at a neighbor’s suggestion. Scheduling an appt was very easy and Matthew arrived on time. He actually removed his boots as he entered our home. Impressive. Matthew was extremely professional and conscientious. He assessed the problem quickly and made the necessary adjustments to alleviate and repair the drain issue. Absolutely thrilled he was able to do what the builder’s plumber could not. Highly recommend RADIANT and especially recommend Matthew. Five stars.

Michael Rangle did an excellent job of clearing our kitchen drain and diagnosing the bigger picture. He was polite, cheerful and professional. We called Radiant around 9am and he was here by 2pm. Highly recommended company!

On time to start with. That was a very pleasant surprise. Very cordial. Got right to work with little chit chat. It took him five minutes to locate the problem. He gave me quotes/estimates on potential issues and even tested my water and added my bag of salt to my softener. I am extremely pleased with Reliants service and would recommend to anyone.
