Renewal by Andersen of Eastern NY

Excellent experience with Renewal by Andersen today. The entire crew was professional, efficient & I am very happy with their work. Worth every penny. Thank you to Brian Wilcox, Parm, Murray & Dustin for a job well done.

From setup to finish, everything was streamlined. Everything looks beautiful and exactly how it was shown to me before the work was done. It functions well, and I can already tell a massive difference inside the house. I feel like I am now inside and separated from the outside world.

All in all, we had 20 windows done and the front door. The house looks beautiful from the inside, and it looks beautiful from the outside. It now feels not just like a home, but my home.

I also wanted to point out the great work done by the whole crew, especially Dhanai and Roop. Always on time. They always set proper expectations. I never felt an ounce of unprofessionalism from them. And lastly, they took the proper steps to take care of both me and the house. They take pride in their work, and that is exactly what anyone who cherishes their home wants when they spend their hard-earned money.

In summary, if you have the money—and more importantly, if you desire real quality (form and function)—Renewal by Andersen is the definite choice.

The team did an amazing job. We are a repeat Anderson customer and would recommend them to anyone. They were punctual, clean, friendly. We have two dogs and they loved all the team members!

Starting with the sales experience, Will Braunstein was a calm presence who made us feel comfortable, informed and heard. This is a quality in sales that is often looked over in favor of loud, chatty folks who seem more keen to entertain you than educate you. I love witty people, don’t get me wrong. But if I’m left after our meeting wondering what just happened then we probably weren’t focused on the right things. So I’ll take a Will personality any time. For the record, Will is also witty.

For the install, we had these guys in our home for three days straight…slightly different teams each day. Naturally it was not a quiet exercise to remove and install every window in our house plus the front door, but they kept things as tidy as possible and actually made it…fun?! Brian Wilcox, Jay, Tom, Noah, Nick, Ezra, and one other young man’s name who I didn’t get because he was quiet as a church mouse, were very friendly, warm, respectful, informative, funny, and most importantly…NOT creepy. The work was done with care and expertise, and I’m very pleased with the results.

If 0 stars were an option I would choose it. So high pressure with their sales tactics and we were lied to multiple times by their representatives. They couldn’t match the color but made it seem like they could and now I have mismatched paint at the window closest to my entryway. This is after they told me everything wasn’t final until we had measurements done when we in fact had 3 days to cancel and therefore missed the window. In scheduling the initial estimate they called me EVERY DAY between when I scheduled it and it occurred, including the day of. If it smells like snake oil because it is snake oil. If you choose to do business with them, bend on over because they are the most expensive around. We paid $7500 for 2 windows meanwhile my father is building a house bought ALL of his for $17000!! Doesn’t include installation but you can see…they take advantage of people who are afraid to say no (me) or need financing. Avoid!

I could not be happier with my experience with Renewal by Andersen. Everything from the initial consultation to the final installation went exactly as they described, with no "gotcha" additional expenses. The installers were friendly, experienced, thorough.... I have a 100+ year old house I recently acquired in upstate New York, with unusual-sized windows. They came, measured, measured again, placed the order and 6 weeks later scheduled an installation appointment for my 12 custom fabricated windows. They came with their own travelling workshop complete with metal fascia benders, chop saws....everything they needed to complete the work. They left my house BETTER than when they found it. I can already feel the difference from the single-pane original windows. Yes, they are more expensive, but if you bought stock windows and had to somehow fit them into the existing opening, and had to find a contractor in the rural area I live in, it would have been MONTHS before I could get this done. Having renovated several houses in suburban New York I know what it means to be in a "contractor desert." Fast, efficient, comprehensive installation, and a quality product. I highly recommend them. Amir, Bob, Murray, Tom and Bill were the best!

From step one Renewal by Anderson has been friendly and very thorough and helping me understand the process and procedure of my upgrades. Jay and Waz the installers were very polite, professional, and totally neat and clean. I can’t be more happy and excited to enjoy my new doors.

The four workers from Renewal by Andersen clearly know their craft. They were careful, professional and pleasant. They skillfully replaced 4 windows and an outer door in our 1880's house, and paid attention to every detail. Highly recommend the product and the people!

So very pleased with the whole process! Not only is our kitchen now looking incredible but it feels a million times better! Our French doors had rotten bottoms and were letting tons of heat in, the staff was absolutely incredible on recommending the side light window and one single door with a screen - a great option and so much more functional! The kitchen sink window is the window of my dreams! Aside from looks, the product is very nice! We are impressed with the care and respect the staff who ran the install showed. They were very respectful of my concerns and questions and spent time clearly talking over little details that made all the difference. My only complaint is I should’ve ordered the rest of our windows haha! Definitely using them again for more updates.

We just had our second round of windows installed by Andersen and we couldn't be happier!! We're so happy that we put our trust in this excellent company once again. From Will, who is in sales, to Amir, Bob and the install crew, the process was seamless, well thought out and explained simply and very well.

It's evident that Andersen puts a lot of energy into choosing the right people to work for them, which I fully appreciate since they're in our home. The level of detail that the install crew put into the job was astounding. We appreciate them so much. The property was left immaculate, with only gorgeous windows to look at. I'm so impressed yet again with Andersen, and would refer them any time, any day. Thank you Andersen!!
