Rhode Island Home Improvement (RIHI) was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From the sales representative, Heather, coming to our home and explaining the features of the new bay window, showing samples, explaining benefits and then giving us a good price - it was an easy decision. To the work crew who did the actual installation, to the quality follow up with Randy Hershoff, they were detail oriented, concerned with our satisfaction and true to their word.

We replaced a large bay window that was original to the home's construction in 1959. It was a focal point and one of the reasons we bought the house, it was so open and attractive. But it had aged, was uninsulated glass, leaked and didn't open well. The new window is stunning. Clean lines, airy, warm, easy to open, the road noise is barely noticeable now. It had to be custom built and was worth the wait. I recommend RIHI for your home construction needs. Before and after photos are posted below.

We contacted several contractors who either never called back, or worse, set up appointments and then didn’t show. Then we saw the RIHI truck at a neighbor’s house. This neighbor couldn’t say enough wonderful things about RIHI. So without even checking reviews online, I called them. We received an immediate call back, an appointment was set up for two days later. An extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable salesperson met with us, and the contract was signed. He knew what we wanted and the price was right. We were even more pleased when the workmen showed up, introduced themselves with a handshake, and were equally professional. We had three windows replaced. They had to be special ordered and were exactly what we wanted. The old windows were out and the new windows were in the same day. The furniture was moved back. It was like they had never been here. RIHI made good on every promise they made, and I highly recommend them. This is a family-owned business and it could not be more obvious how important their company reputation is to them.

Rhode Island Home Improvement, RIHI, recently upgraded our tub/shower combo to a new walk-in shower, and it has completely transformed our bathroom. The new shower gives the space a modern, open feel, while the low-threshold entry, 4 ½”, makes it incredibly accessible. The first step was sitting down the RIHI advisor to pick out all the items we wanted; this took about two hours. The installation was perfectly planned, day 1 was demolition, day #2 plumber, day 3 and 4 was installation of the shower. Cleaning the shower is much easier compared to our old tub-shower combo.
Overall, this walk-in shower combines style and practicality, making it a fantastic investment for anyone looking to modernize and most of all reducing the risks of falling.
Kudos to the crew that did the work, all were courteous and polite and on time.
When completed you would never know they demolish a bathtub and walls. It was a pleasure meeting them.
I would highly recommend RIHI to anyone looking to upgrade their home, definitely a 5-Star outfit.

I recently had three exterior doors replaced at my home, and the experience was excellent from the first appointment through the final follow-up. The salesperson took the time to understand what I needed and walked me through all the options. The process was easy and stress-free.
The installation crew did outstanding work. They were professional, respectful of my home, and their attention to detail showed in the final result. The doors look great and operate perfectly.
After the installation, the company followed up to confirm everything met my expectations and to answer any questions. It’s clear they care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Very happy with the kitchen cabinet refacing done by RIHI. The installers were professional, prompt, informative, and cleaned up each day so I could use the kitchen during installation. They were not the cheapest, but I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. I felt I paid a fair price for quality materials and workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic experience! Great products and service. We used RIHi for a glass shower install and again for a front entry door. We highly recommend them for any home improvement project.

We had three windows replaced in two bedrooms. Every aspect of our window installation was great! Our salesman took the time to explain our options, and made sure we understood our choice and the cost. The lead installer came to our house to verify the measurements and assess where the work would be done. We received two phone calls from the office to inform us of the status of our order, and then scheduled the install.

The installation team were on time (a big one for me), and very friendly and professional. They got right to work, and despite an issue with the installation of one of the windows due to our home's construction, they finished the job quickly and cleaned up the entire work area, inside and out. They brought in their carpenter to do some finish work, and the windows look GREAT! they made sure we were satisfied before they left, and asked if we had any questions.

RIHI has re-roofed our house and replaced 4 windows. We will keep coming back to them when we need to make improvements to our home. They are focused on customer service and providing excellent value. You can't go wrong with RIHI!

Repeat customer and satisfied customer! For our bathroom project we wanted it done right and we wanted to do it once by a professional (unlike our past DIY bathroom makeovers). We called RIHI. Such a wonderful experience from consultation to closing the deal.

Very nice company(family oriented feel). They are very thorough at making sure you are a happy customer… from the first visit to last visit. They do their best to make you feel like you are part of their family. Took care of all my concerns quickly and worked within my schedule.

Excellent presentation by Heather and Ben, very informative and concise, lots of samples for our shower renovation and great documentation of the company's nearby work. We held off only because the price was higher than we expected, most likely because my Wife and I aren't aware of the current market regarding renovation. When we decide to do the job we will definitely call RIHI back.
