We bought our doors/windows in 2010. Have been fighting to get them serviced for about 7 years. The company was sold and the lifetime warranty is invalid. We’ve begged to get a quote so we can get the doors serviced. In the last tropical storm it rained inside our home because the seals weren’t done properly.
The manager of the service department is a very angry woman who decides whether or not she will send her team out. She repeats that it can’t be done for free, even though I’ve said I will pay. But still, we cannot get anyone to come out and quote or service our windows/doors.
I am now aware that lifetime at Stormtight only means lifetime of the company’s current owner, not the lifetime of your home.
Go elsewhere, you will be annoyed at the constant begging to a company that charged $47k for doors/windows they will not service.
Sadly I referred a few friends who all got their windows from Stormtight.

I had a front door, sliding door, and a French door installed almost 3 years ago. Almost 1 year ago I called because my French door that leads to my back yard would not open. They sent someone out and even with tools of the trade he could not get the door open. He said he was afraid he would break the door if he kept trying and left. We were informed after several calls that that we’re ordering. A new door, it would take 6-8 weeks. When we called to check the status we were told it’s not yet it would be another few weeks. We still have a back door that does not work. And our front door barely works. They have not fixed either door. My doors have not been inspected by the county because they will not pass inspection.
We continue to call and now it goes straight to voicemail when we call and nobody returns our call.
I went with this company for doors because I had my windows in my house done by them and it was phenomenal now I’m terrified that if anything happens to my windows that I’m I’m just out of luck I’ve sunk almost $60,000 worth of money into this company. I can’t even get into my backyard haven’t been able to use my backyard, my grandchildren who live in the home can’t go in the backyard my mother who is a paraplegic cannot even get into the backyard. That’s why we have the French door back there so she could go back there. She can’t even go out there and enjoy anything out there.
I have summarized the on going issues I have experienced with this company.
If you are ok with broken/ defective merchandise and terrible customer service this is the company for you.
Update: I have called and was told by Paige that my French door was received and that I would receive a call by Friday. That was 2 weeks ago. I have not been called. I just called 7/3/25 and was told they would send a message to local office and tell them to call me. I was also told that because it’s almost the end of the work day and they are off tomorrow that the call may come Monday.
This is not acceptable!!!

Best Project Manager Experience – Juan C. Rodriguez
We had an outstanding experience with Project Manager Juan C. Rodriguez. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Juan indeed took the time to understand our interests regarding impact of Hurricane 5 Windows and helped us achieve our goal with great care.
Thanks to his guidance, we were able to install impact windows throughout our entire home. Since our house has an open floor plan, the sun rays were damaging our fabrics, but now they are fully protected!
We highly recommend Juan and his installation team. The installers were very organized, clean, and efficient. It was truly impressive to watch them handle such a massive job with such skill and coordination.

We recently had our windows and front door installed by Storm Type Windows, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. While the initial consultation was smooth, the process afterward was frustrating. Our windows were ordered in October, installed in February, and the job wasn’t fully completed until today—several months later.
The biggest issue was the lack of professionalism and communication. There were multiple instances where the company didn’t show up as scheduled, and getting in touch with them was extremely difficult. Calls and messages often went unanswered, making the entire process stressful and not worth the price we paid.
While the actual window installation was done well, the final touches and inspection process were poorly handled. Our two front windows already have visible scraping on the trim, which is disappointing given the cost. With a lifetime warranty, I worry about how long it would take them to fix any future issues if it already took over a month to finish this job.
Overall, I would not recommend this company. For the price, I expected much better service and quality. I’d advise looking elsewhere for a more reliable and professional experience.

Storm Tight Windows is not only a beautiful window, but very kind workers. From the sales meeting at the beginning, with Jerry to the installation the whole team was helpful and very communicative. David set my appointment and was funny and kind even though I was having a hard time pending down a day to get the job done. And I had to call him right back to change my day yet again. He was kind and patient with me. Jordan over saw the crew that did the installation and was very helpful (from all my questions) and super kind. I was able to go to work and I was very confident in them getting the job done while I was away. Jordan made it easy for me to know when to be back at the end of the job to sign paperwork and he could show me how the windows worked. I very happy with our choice in going with this company!! And we have a lifetime warranty on these windows so you know they stand by their work. Thank you Storm Tight crew for an amazing window and a great experience.

The customer service and help after the project that was started with my grandmother who passed away (worked with her amazingly too) to dealing with me living in another city was so greatly appreciated. I had my windows installed about 2 1/2 years ago. Absolutely love them. We have not had to put shutters up at all. We don’t hear any outside noise and our energy bill was cut nearly in half. On top of that, they are beautiful and completely changed the appearance of our house. Would definitely recommend.

Company is great so far. Eron, one of the sales employees, came to our house and explained everything perfectly and had so much patience with my parents who speak another language. He was super nice! The sales manager (I believe that’s his role), even came to introduce himself and was super kind with my family, even our dog. We look forward to doing business with them. I wish we had read the google reviews before signing with this company because it's clear they like to come in and ruin your homes interior during install then leave you with the mess.
We even told them they had ripped a ton of paint off our ceilings in multiple rooms and they said they'd send someone to fix it and never did.
In addition, it took over 1 month to get the front door installed. The first group installed it wrong so you would have to yank it closed and open. The second team came and didn't know how to fix it. The third team came and didn't have the right materials to fix it. The 4th team came and they finally fixed it after hours of chaos.
