Appointment set up was easy. Tech came out was very knowledgeable and checked everything to make sure all was good with my water heater because I didn’t have hot water. I had a whole new Daikin 2 stage hvac system put into my basement and attic today. I had many techs working on the installations (attic, basement and outside on the 2 AC towers). They all did a super good job and were very very nice and kind. My home is so nice, warm and cozy now. I will always use Gold Medal Services.

I signed my contract with Gold Medal a few weeks ago after using Clarkstown for a few years. As my central heating system stopped working right on the MLK holiday, I called Gold Medal. The technician came in the same day and he was highly professional. He got my heat back on and came the next day to fix the repair. I was really impressed with their level of professionalism and organization. I would highly recommend Gold Medal to anyone.

He was very pleasant from the moment he came to my door and introduced himself and throughout the service visit. He took the time throughout the service visit to explain to me everything. He was patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable when answering all of my questions. This was so reassuring, which meant so much to me. Benjamin was my service expert for my routine natural gas boiler maintenance. He explained in detail what he did and his findings. If you are due for your routine winter maintenance service, I recommend you contact Gold Medal. They helped me identify the service I needed and search for the best price before giving me a quote. FYI, I contacted 5 companies and Gold Medal offered the best price. When you called them, ask for the NY North office and request Benjamin to be your service expert. You will not be disappointed.

I had set up an appointment for annual maintenance of my Weil-McLean ultra 230 high-efficiency condensing boiler. The boiler was originally installed by Gold Medal six years ago and was a serviced by them annually under a maintenance contract since the original installation. The owners’ manual calls for disassembly of the combustion chamber annually and cleaning when necessary. The service technician, Dennis Salvador, was the first to actually recommend this and to do the cleaning if necessary, which was likely after six years. During his initial visit, he determined the cleaning was necessary, but had to order a cleaning kit from Weil-McLean and return a week later. The kit runs around $800 but includes a number of critical components that degrade with time such as the igniter, Heat shields, sensors and gaskets critical to the safe and reliable operation of the unit. Dennis was competent, friendly and polite. He arrived at the scheduled time and finished the labor intensive job in only a few hours.
