Received a coupon in the mail and gave them a chance. The design process seemed smooth at first and we were excited about the 1-2 day install promised, but multiple changes had to be made once it got to production as there didn't seem to be clear communication between sales and production.
The install was ROUGH. They didn't use their own contractor, but subcontracted it out. Multiple parts of the project were done incorrectly and others were not as described. Many parts of the install were not done according to manufacturers instructions. Water lines had leaks. One guy fell (only partially and he was ok thankfully) through the ceiling into our laundry room. We had to call them out MANY times to try and fix the crooked and sloppy install and caulking job, but it usually ended up worse somehow. After weeks of struggle and many no call/no shows and missed promises, we finally decided with Bath Authority that the entire project needed to be started over from scratch. Luckily they did come to the table here and ate the cost of the new parts/labor. When the BA's own contractor came to do the install, they did a good job and we ended up with the shower we wanted.
A few peripheral parts of the project (mainly drywall) never got fixed or cleaned up properly and they never offered anything for the month and a half of delay in the project to get it completed instead of the promised 1-2 days. I had to spend a ton of time working with them to get it fixed, move around work trips, and patching things after they "finished". I've been trying to follow up with them after the project with 0 response.
If you use them, I would strongly suggest not to let them use a subcontractor hired out, but only their internal team. This was the source of most of the issues. Also, get some things in writing for how to be compensated if they do not live up to their end of the contract.

The Bath Authority lives up to their name. The rep came to our house with samples, info and answers, and while the appointment took awhile, it was worth it.
We listened to others too, but their solid surface stone is worth every penny! Actually less than Tundraland and two acrylic companies for our walk in shower.
We are both very happy with the result!

I couldn't even get through the "Free" consultation with this company. From the time the salesman came to my home, I was told all about how wonderful the company was, how great the products are. After listening to this for over an hour, I was FINALLY able to get a $ estimate. They quoted me a price of $14k, which quickly dropped to $11k after all the "discounts" he was offering. Then he repeatedly pressured me to sign a contract on the spot. When I refused, he doubled- down on his efforts to get me to commit to something I was not comfortable with. He peppered me with questions as to why I wouldn't sign, he asked me repeatedly if I had gotten any other offers, and from whom. When I finally had to be firm about NOT signing a contract, he became ANGRY! He jumped up from my chair in my kitchen, grabbed his tile samples, called me a liar, told me I was rude and then screamed at my partner and I to not call the company to do business with them. I finally asked him to leave my home. I had to ask him more than one time to get out. This was the MOST unprofessional price estimates I have ever gotten in my whole life!! If you like to be screamed at by a stranger in your own home, definitely call this company.

We had John Decarlo and he came out on time to assess our bathroom and give us a quote. He was very professional and informative: he answered our questions and pointed out all options for us to consider that would affect the cost of the project. We felt comfortable with his presentation and we had no areas of concern unanswered. We decided to go with the quote because we wanted exceptional work and quality. The rating of 4 stars is due to our remodel only being on order at this time. We will rerate our experiences when the shower install is completed. Final score will depend on actual quality of work, materials, and timeliness.

1st They were to come out on Friday but didn't show up till Sat. to install our shower. 2nd they were to keep our old shower head but throw it away. They did reimburse us for that. 3rd I had shut off valves already, they took them out said they would replace them, but they didn't have any with them and were going to charge me 200.00 to go get some. I said no thanks but got angry and when they called told them why should I have to pay more for something I already had. so they talked to someone and came out and put new ones on for free. 4th they dropped a tool on the floor and skimmed a small round hole in my linoleum floor when they replaced to shut off valves one of them sprayed something on it but didn't tell me anything about what it was for and I still have a black hole on my gray linoleum floor.

Wish we’d done this years ago! Appreciate the professionalism of our installer Kenny. We’ve worked with other home improvement companies and can highly recommend the Bath Authority from sales to job completion.

I wish that I would have done this years ago. The installers were polite, professional and they did their best to keep my house as clean as possible during the whole process.

Danny & Tyler were great. Would gladly recommend them, and Bath Authority, for tub to shower remodel.

From the sales rep to the installers, the people are great. Knowledgeable, responsive, efficient, clean and true to their time tables. I have a new shower enclosure in time for the holidays. Thank you!
