Varsity Zone HVAC of Fishers

I was frustrated with HVAC contractors "upselling" me on parts and service work needed. Varsity Zone did neither. In fact they
refused to do the work requested, namely, replacing the heat exchanger, saying to do so was a waste of money. That impressed me greatly. As a response to a faulty heat exchanger they did recommend a new furnace at, I thought, a reasonable price. They were able to install the next working day, as promised. They predicted four to five hour installation time and were right on. Being a cold day, that was important. They cleaned up and presented the bill which was exactly as promised. They even added a free thermostat! They were polite, efficient and willing to answer any questions that I had. If you are in their service area, you won't go wrong using them for your heating needs.
My only question is: whoever thought of their company name? It does not convey the company's work.

I will update my previous review. New system installed. Jesse is the best in all my years of HVAC services . Most cost effective again out of 3 other companies that were recommend to me. I will only be calling one number from now on! Varsity!!
I called at 6 PM and had a technician at my door by 2 PM the next day—super responsive. Not only was the work excellent, but the technician also took a moment to play with our puppy, which was a nice personal touch.
Out of three companies we contacted, they were the only ones to offer a practical solution and cost savings. Highly recommend!

Just had Varsity out and met with Jesse. From the moment I met him I knew we had the right company out. He’s the real deal. Honest and up front and doesn’t try to upsell you. He listened to my concerns and what we were dealing with in our home in terms of air quality and helped me choose the best air purification system to alleviate our specific concerns. Also, he was able to install a hospital-grade air purifier into our furnace cabinet the same day, which we didn’t expect! Just had a brand-new HVAC system installed, and I’ve got to say, I’m really impressed with the whole experience. Jesse, the technician, has been doing this for over 20 years—and it definitely shows. He was super friendly, professional, and took his time to make sure everything was done right. The installation looked meticulous, and he double-checked every detail. After finishing up, he ran a bunch of tests to make sure the system was working perfectly, and even cleaned up the work area before leaving.

The owner, John, also came by to check on the installation, which I thought was really nice and showed how much they care about their customers. Out of curiosity, I ran the post-installation test data through an AI system, and it actually confirmed that the installation was top-notch—so that was pretty cool!

Overall, I couldn’t be happier. Great people, great work, and everything done right the first time. Highly recommend these guys if you need any HVAC work done.

Highly recommended! Took out my old furnace and installed a new Mini Split for my living room and it works great! Extremely friendly and great pricing. You can't find a better HVAC company in Indy.

We had a great experience with Varsity. Our furnace stopped working and the technician quickly diagnosed the issue and clearly explained what was going on as he worked through it. I really appreciated how he walked me through the problem and the solution — I felt informed and confident in the repair.
He went above and beyond to make sure we had heat again the same day, which I was extremely grateful for. Pricing felt very fair and the service was professional, patient, and stress-free. Highly recommend.

If you read their reviews, you will see the words "Honest", "Fair", and "Trustworthy" over and over and over. That's because that's exactly what they are. I had an issue with HVAC and contacted them but then had to end up in the hospital for a couple of days due to a medical issue. They were promptly following up with me the entire time. I got out and contacted them Friday morning, by afternoon, Jesse was heading out to take a look at the issue for me and promptly took care of it, and also took time to explain to me how it wasn't as serious as I thought, and gave me additional follow-up option (that was also very affordable) if needed. He didn't actually try to sell me on anything, but really just gave advice and options. It's refreshing to work with a service provider who isn't trying to take advantage of you at every turn. I'm definitely keeping their contact for all future HVAC need and I highly recommend everyone to reach out to them

The owner, Jesse responded to me same day and was able to get out for an on-site consultation that afternoon. I was impressed immediately with his responsiveness and flexibility. Once on site, he was very personable, easy to work with, and extremely knowledgeable about the HVAC rerouting questions that I had. The thing I appreciated most about him was his honesty as if he was working and consulting within his own house. He gave me advice that I may not actually even need the work done, which surprise me because of course, that would take a job away from him. That’s why I called him and his company. I wanted a locally owned, non-equity backed, honest opinion from an expert not working for one of the big companies you see on TV. If decide to move forward with the work, I will definitely be calling him back and will refer him to others with HVAC needs in the future.

The communication was great by reminding me of the appointment ahead of time and letting me know when to expect the technician that morning and then again when they were on their way. Jesse was very professional and thorough as he walked through each of the items. All questions or answered and will be coming back to help install our thermostat for a very reasonable price. Based on the service, I would absolutely recommend them.
