One word to describe our experience with this company: Nightmare.
Have plenty of pictures if you want to see. Do not fall for their scam sales tactics, especially how they really play up that it'll be complete in one day. It's "complete" in one day with shoddy workmanship. Also, EXTREMELY overpriced. They come to fix their mistakes (like leaving work out of code, punctures in piping, incomplete caulking that causes water to dribble out of the bottom of your shower onto the floor in multiple places, unlevel shower doors so they don't even close correctly or completely, a bubbling shower wall, and more...), costing you more of *your* time; yet, here I go to flush my new toilet and the handle breaks. This is after two full days of them *re-doing* the *entire project* and then a guy having to come after-hours to fix a leaking fitting-- while I was trying to get dinner on the table. Them redoing the job included them having to replace the toilet and floor they damaged during the initial job. Little snapshots of this whole experience. Saying yes to these people was a bad decision. And it feels worse that it seems like we worked with overall dishonest people. You have to know what questions to ask, you have to bring in a level and check them along the way, and they "upgrade" your project during the "fixes" when they had "guaranteed" the best at the start! For the price, we had assumed we could initially take them at their word. Unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for a *major* headache, learn from us and seriously just run.

Checked with several contractors to remodel the master bathroom. Contacted WSH and decided to have them do the remodel. Decided to do 2 and 1/2 bathrooms (3 in total). Team consisting of Wyatt c, Paris M, Stan P, David, Chris, Arron A, Tony, and Dustin did a tremendous job in completing all three in just two days. The installation was smooth and professional. I would use WSH again for other projects. The pricing was very reasonable.

Deon Trowell and Alexis Gant, where extremely positive and addressed all my concerns. A complete delight to work with and an asset to the West Shore Company.

Tim White arrived on time and organized. He came to determine why my small shower (6 months old) was leaking. He determined the lower caulking needed to be removed and redone. He worked efficiently and did not leave a mess. He explained that I was not the cause of the leak (as many of us homeowners believe we have done something wrong).
I am puzzled however why a shower that is used by only one person, three times a week would need to have this repair so soon.
I also had the opportunity to clean my shower head. I can't reach it, and Tim took it down made a few repairs and gave it to me to clean it. What a good feeling.
I am grateful to Tim for tweeking my new shower. I'm wondering if a "tweeking visit" should be part of the process.
Also I am grateful that I could afford to have my old shower replaced in 8 hours rather than 7 weeks as it usually takes the traditional bathroom/shower makeover.

The outside of the new front door looks great. However, I was told that they would measure the old door space which consisted of a double door and that the new door would be custom made to fit the old space exactly, but the door designer did not take into account the material to hold the new hinge and that required the door to shift an inch. That meant on inside they had to shift everything an inch that left a hole in the mop board and a hole in the LFP floor and damaged the drywall on the left side of the door for a 1 inch strip that will need to be repaired and painted properly. Very poor measure and design work

On January16, 2025 Matt K., Seth S., and RJ H.,showed up on time. They explained everything they had an order to do. A tub to shower conversion, anew toilet and floor. The hall floor was covered. The counters were covered. As they started working the trash was removed as they worked. Every step of the way we were informed about what they were doing. At the end of the first day the shower was installed and the floor and toilet was removed. On the second day the shower bar, shelves and shower seat was installed again asking us where we wanted everything. The floor and toilet were installed again asking us which way we wanted the floor installed. When everything was finished Seth went over everything with us and asked if we were satisfied with their work. All three men were polite and friendly. They all knew what they were doing. They all worked as an excellent team. I would definitely refer these men and West Shore Home to family and friends

Their prices are exorbitant, the choice of materials is poor, such a scam company. I am honestly surprised that they get any customers -- $25,000 for a shower surround, vanity, and new toilet!?!?! Was able to get it done by a real contractor, including tile work, for half the price.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
In August, we had our doors replaced by West Shore Homes, and shortly after, our 4-year-old floors began separating. Initially, we assumed the issue was due to cheap materials from the builder of our home. However, when we tore up the floors to replace them, we discovered water damage caused by water leaking under the new door. The water had even run down the wall into our laundry room.
We reached out to West Shore Homes, and a manager came to inspect the damage. Instead of taking full responsibility, he tried to talk us out of replacing the subfloor. He assured us they would fix the damage, replace the laundry room floor, and even reimburse us for some of the flooring costs. However, they insisted that we pay for the flooring upfront and said they would only reimburse us after they approved what they were willing to cover.
He also promised we would get a call back within 24 to 48 hours. That call never came.
We followed up multiple times, only to be told again and again that we’d receive a callback. It never happened. Eventually, we contacted someone at corporate, who claimed they had more influence and even texted the manager directly on our behalf. Still, nothing—complete radio silence. At this point, it feels like we’ve been ghosted. When I tried to post a comment on their Facebook page about our experience, they blocked me.
This isn’t our first issue with West Shore Homes. A few years ago, we had them install a shower. Since then, we’ve repeatedly dealt with mold issues. They’ve replaced the caulk three times, but this last time, they charged us for it. Now, we’re forced to dry the shower with a towel after every use just to keep the mold at bay—an exhausting task, especially since I’m disabled.
Their complete lack of care or accountability has left us no choice but to involve an attorney. If you’re considering West Shore Homes, think twice. Their poor workmanship and abysmal customer service, particularly at their Louisville office, have caused us nothing but stress and frustration. Save yourself the headache—go with a more reliable company.
