As COVID-19 continues to impact the United States, we at Modernize want to update you on the steps we have taken to ensure the safety of our homeowners, employees, and contractors. We’ve asked our contractors to ensure they are deploying strategies to focus on the safety of our homeowners and their employees.  As we work with our contractors, we have asked them to take action requiring in-home appointments to include personal protective equipment when entering homes or businesses. These include masks, gloves, and shoe covers. We have also asked our contractors to require employees to stay home or seek medical attention consistent with CDC and WHO guidelines if they are experiencing symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, and fever.

Our contractors are prepared to discuss your project in detail with you to continue your project timeframes on time. A majority of our contractors are prepared to set up a virtual appointment with you through the month of April. During these virtual appointments, our contractors will evaluate your needs while maintaining and upholding current safety procedures.  This way, you will receive an estimate in order to prepare for the project. When you use our service, our contractors will connect with you to determine the best method of communication to evaluate your project and provide an estimate virtually. We also have implemented the following support for our homeowners to manage their projects effectively: 

• You can book in-home virtual appointments online— and up to 30 days in advance. 
• Our call center is also available to set up virtual estimates and discuss your project needs. Our operating hours are 7 a.m. Central to 6 p.m. Central. You can call us at (888) 219-1908 during operating hours.

Our contractors may not be able to visit your home depending on current state regulations, but we encourage you to connect to begin your project.
