We sat down with Lance Kaiser, President and CEO of American Exteriors. Historically, American Exteriors would use canvassing as their central method to create new business. They turned to Modernize in 2016 to shift their strategy toward digital marketing and replacement window leads, and have been growing their Windows vertical ever since.

Can you tell us about American Exteriors?

“Our company is very nimble, very dynamic. We’re the industry leader. We have incredible employees that care about the customer and the customer’s needs and the problems they have with their when they come to us. Whether they need windows to be replaced or siding on their new home to make it beautiful, we want to be the first person they call when they have a home improvement need.”

What is your goal in working with Modernize?

“When we started working with Modernize, we were new to digital marketing. We had been a canvass organization and we needed to get into the digital space. We typically like to align ourselves with industry leaders and Modernize is exactly that.”

What advice can you provide to new partners working with Modernize?

“Advice I would give is to partner with Modernize. Let it become a give and take relationship. Listen to them – they are experts in their field. Make sure that you know what you want to achieve and communicate what you want to achieve with Modernize.”

What advice do you have for homeowners?

What is your outlook for 2018 with Modernize?

“I think the relationship will just continue to grow stronger. We realize with digital marketing, it’s a marathon – not a sprint. They know what our goals are, and they know that they will be there for the long haul.”
